In answer to you...below a quote from a former post of the victims mother..

"The night I confronted him about it,he tried to commit suicide and in his suicide letter he wrote to me and my daughter saying he was sorry for what he did to us"

Why on earth would he leave a suicide note and try, or appear to try, to commit suicide if he had not done it?

Hey MOM is it true you were freeloading off of Josh, I think this whole thing is simply over money. RIGHT. Why did it take 2 months to arrest this kind young man. I have known him for years and I think this is a frabricated story by a mom who needs money. Shame on you.
Lets be perfectly honest

I must say this court of public opinion certainly does not understand or believe in our country’s constitution. That said let me say this, all convicted child molesters should go to prison for life.
Mom shame on you for airing all this information. You have been repeatedly warned by authorities not to make these posts yet you continue to jeopardize your daughter’s case. You continue to state your side of the case without sharing all the facts and you continue to alter the truth to fit your story. If this case ever makes it to court (and that’s a big IF) these untrue and biased posts will be used to impugn you and your daughter’s credibility. If (another big IF) Josh is guilty of this crime you are ruining your daughter’s chances of getting a conviction. This entire case is he said she said, there is not one ounce of physical evidence, so this will be judged solely on credibility and your not doing to well at this point.
You also know exactly what is going on in this case because you call the police and DA daily, yet you won’t share that information when asked on this post. The information you are receiving does not help your side so you choose to alter the truth a little to help yourself. Not a good thing.
Know this, you have been warned. Everything you say and do will be used against you and your daughter. Talk all you want IF he is convicted, you will have earned that right. But if he is not convicted,
IE: NOT GULITY then watch out because all of this will be used against you in a slander suit and possibly criminal charges of filing a false report.
Do everyone and your daughter a favor and keep your big mouth shut as you have been advised so many times.

You kind of “sound” like the first poster to this news story. There were 4 post prior to this child’s mother posting. 3 of those were attacking the “victim” in this case. Actually I responded in defense of this child and her family because the attacks were very hateful. I don’t know either party in this case. I know it was in the newspaper, he was arrested….I would think that any DA would make sure they had a case prior to making this sort of arrest. Anyway, back to how often the victims mother post, I only see 6 out 26 that were postings from the victim’s mother. 2 of those 6 postings were simply copy and pasting more current newspaper stories on the case. The others were simply replies to other people! I just counted in case you want to know! She did not start this “blog”,“bla bla bla” did! Why on earth are you trying to cast such a horrible light on this child? The fact remains, if I read it right…he is 29 years old, the child is 13 years old…helllooooo. As a mom to a young teen girl, I have a problem with that, and evidently so does the DA.

As you said you dont know them so dont be so quick to judge. She is fabricating this story for money and that is all it is. She and her boyfriend needed a place to live because neither of them had a job. HELLO she is only looking for money and ruining a young mans life along with it.

I will agree because I know what this mother is doing and has done with many other young males. This situation she is using her daughter. The blame for the situation belongs to the mother. She lived with the accused and was "very close" to him. I feel very sorry for the child. She is in the middle of a terrible situation and needs the help that the mother is getting for her.
I do not believe the postings are attacking the mother but there is another side to the story. What should come first is the child. She needs help and role models desperately. I wish you could have seen her my space and the pleas for attention and help. Please mother if nothing else take care of her.

My point is, that in most cases a DA is not going to file charges and arrest someone in a case such as this with out just cause. They evidently took their time in getting the case together, thus the two month delay in proceeding. Also, in a case such as this it is pretty much the norm for CPS to be involved. They would normally visit the home, speak to other family members and other involved parties. If the child is found to be in a bad home situation, CPS usually will intervene. I have not read an article yet that mentioned anything to that affect concerning this case.

It is not so much being judgemental, it is simply a matter of being able to read the news articles and having a bit of knowledge of the legal system and how it works. In rape cases it is not unusual
for some to try and discredit the victim. Actually, it was those first few post on this forum that got my attention. They are very negative towards the victim which made me wonder why they felt they needed to do that.

The best thing for all concerned is to get this trial in to court and settled. Then and only then will everyone involved be able to move on with their lives.

wow, the Chaplain sure has some weird comments. He seems to be on everyone's side, the victim, the perpetrator, the prosecution, and the defense.
I guess that's what preachers are trained to do - pontificate (in place of a less kind word).

I take your question as being sarcastic....my answer to you is once again...
"The best thing for all concerned is to get this trial in to court and settled. Then and only then will everyone involved be able to move on with their lives."
This is not a civil suit from what I have read. The victim was not arrested. It is a tragic thing for both families. After all, he is someone's son, grandson, possibly someone's brother, uncle. His family is bound to be as heartbroken as the young girls family. We will have to see what happens in court. The biggest thing is for those folks on here trying to discredit the young girl to stop doing so. They are actually the one's that started this forum. This may have never even been commented on had "bla bla bla" and the others refrained from attacking the girl on this forum in the first place.

I'm new here, but if it is true that he tried to kill himself and left a note apologizing for what he did, well.....Oprah says if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, blah, blah, blah.

What do you think? Did he really try and commit suicide or not?

Sorry, I am not a soccer mom. Just a brain with a bit of knowledge on how the system works. However, I am sure there are some soccer moms out there that will be insulted by your remark. If you are one of his friends, you are not furthering his cause at all.

Thank Thank Thank you so much Another Mom. People don't realize what my family has gone through. The D.A. took the charges after 2 months because we made sure everything was taken care of before he was arrested. It was frustrating ,heartbreaking to watch my child go through so much pain.I am in EMS also.So this isn't just a person looking in.I worked with this man.He became my friend,My co-worker.I trusted him because of his "steller"record. But here's another thing...The night I confronted him about it,he tried to commit suicide and his his suicide letter he wrote to me and my daughter saying he was sorry for what he did to us...Do u need anything else? But again Thank you Another mom.I appreciate your words.

You've just given your daughters identity away by coming on here and telling everyone that you worked with the guy and that you are also a EMS.

While I feel for your daughter is going through and yourself; coming on here in the manner you did is very irresponsible.

I can't help but wonder why you choose to make your identity and by association your daughters on the internet. Surely you have family and friends to help you through this rather than anonymous strangers on a opinion board.

I wonder about what you choose to satisfy by posting here? Your ego by attempting to draw sympathy from strangers.

In my opinion this should be a private matter for the protection of your daughter.

May God bless her recovery.
