This kid has been nothing but a menace to society since about the age of 12. He's very familiar with the judicial system. This is really no surprise to those of us who knew him.

This is really a sad statement! It's still no reason to kill someone. He was a HUMAN BEING!!!! He had a family; mother, father, sister, niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins...
A VERY sad and tragic event. I hope the KILLER rots in hell!

(Menace to society) that's the best you can come up with? Since age 12? Really....that warranted some coward with a gun to kill him because he "lunged" at them unarmed? He may have been a "menace" as you judged but he certainly never MURDERED a helpless unarmed person. There are rapists, murderers, and the full rage of violent criminals out there, and while he was in and out of trouble it does not come close to rivaling those type of people, and certainly did not deserve death at the hands of some pu^&&y with gun. This is an eye-for-an-eye case. His father should have got his own gun, walked down to the neighbors house, confirmed that he was the one that shot his son and then proceeded to blow off his f'ing head. And while the prosecutor may not draw charges against the coward, the family shall certainly draw a civil claim against the coward and take every possession his family owns.

He was 36 years old and still living at home. He has never supported himself. He's been in and out of jail several times. He was escorted from the property once and had the nerve to come back at 4:30 in the morning. Could he have been on drugs AGAIN ?

The guy that shot him was having a party at that time, had time to go back into the house to get the gun when he could have called 911 instead. They did no test to see if the shooter had been drinking...he was however partying until 430am. The guy was not on the property, Brandon was shot walking his dog on a leash 150 ft from the shooters house. Seems fishy to me.

People need to call the police before letting something escolate to violence. I bet alcahol impaired judgement. I also bet there had been some sort of friction with those neighbors.

Looks like you didn't know or anything about his situation. Before you go judging people why not take a long hard look in the mirror. Brandon had a heart of gold. Yes so he drank I am sure the shooter was drinking also. BIG DEAL. I was at the vigil for Brandon and was told by many neighbors how their young children are afraid to go in the street because they are scared to get shot. Really that is not OKAY by any means. If the shooter was on the phone with police what gave him the right to shoot Brandon? Why is Brandon's record out for everyone to see but no one can even give out the shooters name?

Brandon was asked to leave earlier in the evening, why did he go back ?

Brandon was nothing but a punk a-s-s kid, no job, no ambition, and still living with his mother and dad while 36 years of age. His history with the judicial system speaks for itself.

As stated before you must know Brandon's history and so he got in trouble in the past that means that he should be shot four times and die? Why didn't the homeowners wait for the police. Brandon wasnt on the property when shot. Why didn't they go back inside? He wasn't a threat with NO WEAPONS. The police were on their way. Look at the whole picture. This affected many people. Even small innocent children. But I guess cause he was 36 living at home that is okay?

Where has it been stated that Brandon was a saint? Why can't you answer any questions posted? He might have been escorted off the property earlier but does that constitute him being shot four times? Why not call the police and WAIT for them to come? Brandon wasn't even on the property when he was shot FOUR TIMES. If Brandon was such a BIG threat then why not go back inside the home and wait for the police?

Brandon could have been on drugs again, now tell us he never has been involved with drugs. My question to you is why did he go back after being escorted off the property once. He was shot because the homeowner was afraid for his life, Brandon was nothing but trouble to all those around him.

Okay I will answer your questions seeing you can't seem to answer anything that has been asked. All you want to do is keep talking about Brandon's past because realistically you have nothing to go by. I am not saying Brandon hasn't ever done drugs or that he has. What does that have anything to do with anything. Maybe the homeowner was on drugs? Have you ever thought of that? Who said Brandon went back? The homeowner right, well let me make this clear BRANDON WAS WALKING HIS DOG IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD ON A PUBLIC STREET AND GOT SHOT FOUR TIMES. Really the homeowner was afraid for his life why then didn't he go INSIDE his home? I have heard the police tapes and he had every chance to GO INSIDE. You don't hear Brandon attacking him or anything. The homeowner shot Brandon because he was drunk and acting a fool. He shot him not once, not twice, not three times, but four times to make sure he was DEAD. How do you justify that?

If it was a six shooter he should have pumped all 6 into him.

You need to hang around with better friends, those that don't have a history of crime. Just so you'll know, a persons history speaks for the kind of person they are.

Brandon's Friend...Brandon was not "walking his dog when he got shot 4 times" he was trespassing on private property and threatening the homeowner and his guests. They thought at first Brandon was a "drunken fool" until he started acting erratically...he even threw his own dog over the fence to intrude into the Doctors fenced in yard, then pretended to look for the dog. Brandon was "being held at bay" until the police could arrive most likely to be arrested for public intoxication and trespassing. Unfortunately instead he was yelling things like "kill me, kill me" and he attacked the Doctor as he waited for the police to come pick him up...obviously something was wrong with Brandon this night, be it drugs, alcohol, or his own mental illness who knows. The homeowner and his guests did not know who Brandon was...only that he was a large man, covered in tattoos, and acting crazy.

So please stop acting like Brandon was just walking hid dog by the doctors house and was attacked by the doctor when that is not at all what happened.

The truth is the only thing worthy of speaking of in this tragic situation. We should all feel sympathy for all parties involved.

You are incorrect in your statements (NAH). He was walking his dog. He wasn't on private property when he was shot. He was in the street walking away. So he attacked the doctor really? Why did the doctor not have one scratch or bruise or anything on him then? Had you been attacked by someone I would suspect that you would have some sort of markings on you at some point. Why wasn't he out of breath from these attacks? Covered in tattoos that is funny because he wasn't covered with tattoos at all...so maybe the Doctor and his guests were on drugs or intoxicated oh wait they were. I am not acting like anything. I have known Brandon for 15 years and I know the type of person he was. I am just sick of people bashing him because of his criminal past which has NOTHING to do anything. Brandon wasn't a BAD GUY at all and that is how he is being portrayed. Sorry I am sticking up for a VICTIM here.

Sorry Brandon's Friend, you are misinformed...none of what I said has anything to do with his past....but about what he was doing that specific night at 4:30am. Hiding in peoples bushes and refusing to leave the property is not "walking his dog" and yes he was shot in the street after he was escorted off of the private property...to be picked up by the police. They were on the phone with 911 the entire time trying to remove Brandon from the property when Brandon lunged at the homeowner, homeowner reacted to the attack with what he had, what if during the attack the homeowner had lost the gun to Brandon and he himself was killed? Brandon was the attacker. Texas law states this;

Senate Bill 378 also "abolishes the duty to retreat if the defendant can show he:(1) had a right to be present at the location where deadly force was used; (2) did not provoke the person against whom deadly force was used; and (3) was not engaged in criminal activity at the time deadly force was used.

The homeowner certainly had the right to be in a public street correct? As did Brandon, Brandon attacked the Homeowner. Both had a right to be there.

The homeowner by confession on the 911 call was "holding the intruder at bay", Brandon was acting psychotic and the homeowner was waiting for the police to arrive.

I myself have sympathy for both sides, Brandon as well as the Doctor and his family. Nobody wanted this to happen...but quite possibly you have to consider that Brandon take the blame for his own demise, as tragic as that sounds...it seems to be what happened.

Also Brandon's Friend it doesn't look good for you who is spouting misinformation...Brandon was only shot twice not four times as you keep saying...as someone who was following what happened in an honest manner why do you not know this? Are you trying to sensationalize the issue?
