OH, wait, I forgot, this is America, we only slap criminals on the hand , feed and house them and then release them back on the streets.
Damn good thing it's not my decision as to what should happen to these 2 sick people, these people need to die!!! I am sick and tired of my taxes going to "take care" of these sick, bastards.
My heart goes out to this child.
I am so sorry you couldn't trust your "mommy" Ethan, so , so sorry.

Every couple of years we receive horrific news of a child being abused, tortured, murdered and it makes us all very sick, angry, mortified; what on
earth can we do to help these poor innocent children who have only their parents to protect them and make them feel safe; the horror to me is the amount of time that poor little boy suffered, being locked in a room with brain damage injuries, being abused further each and every day, while looking to his mother for help, to save him from
the horror. It is so tragic and I do not believe
that these two people deserve anything from anyone let alone a lenghthy paid for trial consisting of nothing but excuses for their hideous behavior. Let them go to prison life no parole, their roommates, their peers will make sure that they experience some of the hell, pain, and hopefully the fear of waking up each and every day. rest in peace little ethan. God has a special place for you where you will feel nothing but love, warmth and security. God bless you Ethan's bio. dad. do not torture yourself every day as you did not know and you were doing what the court ordered you to do. makes you wonder. help us all to have the capacity, the intuition and the drive to help these poor little children from the horrors of their own parents.

After reading the affidavit, I'm physically ill. That poor boy. i have a 4 year old boy, when I think of how our little ones trust us. And how Ethan probably looked at his mom for help as his instincts told him too. And how his trust was met with a rage, and a mom who cared more for her own safety than her own child's obvious pain. It breaks my heart.

Tonight I attended the vigil held in Ethan's honor. The Public out pour of Love for a little boy none of us truly knew and the support for a father that none of us have met has brought to light that there still are people that CARE for a cause. I found emotions taking over tonight when I seen the community coming together for this little boy and his father. This event is eye opening to me, how can any parent harm any child, more importantly their own child or stand by and let it happen. Stop Child abuse, Stand up for our future. God Bless this angle taken before his time.

Starting this morning out crying...and I didnt even know Ethan, but your note to him at the bottom was beautiful. God bless you and your family, especially Ethan, and be strong for your ex...he's going to need a lot of support, and Im sure hes gunna blame himself for lettin Ethan go visit his Momma. It's not his fault, in any way, but as a parent I know I'd be tortutring myself over it
s The sad thing is that ethan didn't want to go nor did the father, in our local papers he said "I had no choice." because the Fla, judge ordered it and our county Tazewell, VA ordered it. Had he not let him go he would have been charged with contempt of court. I hope both judges has nightmares everynight for the rest of there lives. Or send them to court for sentencing Ethan to death. Rest in peace Ethan your town is shedding a lot of tears for u. May the Lord with your daddy and the rest of the family. With Much Love Tony&Donna McClanahan

I'm sorry - you know me how? How do you know I don't give a damn? You are an idiot who decides people cannot grieve for this child and every child murdered because they don't live in Rwanda or Darfur. EVERY CHILD MURDERED SHOULD BE GRIEVED FOR AND WE NEED TO FIND A WAY TO STOP IT FROM HAPPENING - REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY LIVE! Get over yourself - the children in Rwanda and Darfur aren't the only ones being senselessly murdered. I cry for them all.
Rightfully said.

Disgusted Father....I agree. If there were a way to make some kind of law where single mothers have to stay single. At least until their kids are big enough to defend themselves or move away. Most times, it's "mommy's man" that does these awful things. Once a female has a kid, that's that. She should have to waive any and all rights to be in a relationship, like I said, until her kid is old enough to fend for him or her self.
I to would like to do something about these children who are so helpless. A law to do unto others as they do to you. I would love to see these people die in worse ways in which they harm these kids but how do we start. I get more heartsick everyday I hear of these kids I cry for them. We do live in USA but the justice sucks @ getting rid of these monsters. After all the children in Fla. died @ the mercy of monsters the killers are still on trial. Why give them one. They did it get them in then arms of people that would g do the children justice. I was glad to read that people are feed up it's time we take a stand in some way or fashion. I live in the town in which Ethan lived before this untimely. In which our justice sytem failed Ethan. Our community I can say are proud they at you guys are sending your thoughts. His funeral will be tomoorrow May 19. Once again thank you.
