Just heard, the largest employer in the US will be raising the cost to employees for health insurance - Walmart.
Keep in mind these people don't make alot of $$$$.
Starts with Walmart - then who is next???????
Expanding Medicare to be an affordable plan to the nation is starting to sound good right about now, isn't it?
All that would be different would be that the top management of health insurance companies making millions would be tossed over to the luxury sales of high end real estate and luxury cars! What's wrong with that?

His technologies were super expensive and Apple made a good deal of money without paying their fair share of taxes.
He was wrong about not having surgery; what else was he wrong about?
His motto "don't copy, steal" was done by his competitors too!
Goodbye Steve Jobs - your 15 minutes of fame is done - time for someone NEW!!!! Hopefully it will be someone who cares about the American employee/consumer!!!!

Steve Jobs was wrongfully told by his drs. that his cancer was a very slow moving one and that time was on his side. If every man contributed to this world what he did, this one man alone, America would not be on the chow line. Tell me Serious, what have you or Obama contributed to America, illegals who steal everything Americans have? Yet you concern yourself with Apple's taxes? Have you done some research into the celebrity faction of the states? When do they start handing over the goods?

You people act as if Obama open the door for the immigrants - he didn't live in Texas nor California. He is NOT the head of a large corporation that benefited from having illegals here doing work at less than min. wage with NO benefits.(Who by the way drained the welfare and school system's funds.) Any corporation bringing in immigrants (legally) should have to show that there are NO Americans (including dead beat parents) available to do the job and pay them the same rate with health insurance (take out taxes)as Americans. I bet more Americans would find good jobs!!!
Now that things are out of control, everyone wants to blame Obama, as usual. He wants to keep the smart talented ones and send the crimals home.(I bet he would like to send the American duds to Mexico, but he hasn't figured out how to do it legally yet!)
Steve Jobs sent factory jobs to "CHINA". He made more money that way. He said he would rather spend the money tearing down the competition. A loony negative man. He contributed to the success, but keep in mind he hired DEVELOPERS - said so himself!!! It is like giving total Microsoft credit to Bill Cates, nuts. It was a team effort. If these men could do everything on their own, there would not have been employees. Think about it!
Steve Jobs told the guy who wrote book that "he did not want to open "invade" his body. Instead changed his diet. Lets keep things straight here. When the cancer was in the early stages Steve Jobs was told to have surgery. He chose not to for nine months; therefore choosing his fate.

Steve Jobs was just a man,he was greedy and only thought about how he was going to make huge profits .He was just like all the other greedy corporations, send jobs overseas and and pretend he knows nothing about child labor and unfair trade agreements, just greedy.Guess what,he died and just like the poorest man in the world he could not take one red cent with him.He is just as dead as anyone else!!!!!!!!!
#6 Oct 22, 2011
You both in your desciptions of Steve Jobs, describe him like he owed you! The democrat mentality! Everybody owes you! Steve Jobs had the right to make his own choices about his body. You will die to, hopefully you will get to make your own choices.
Those who hire illegals are as guilty as Obama is for placing them before American citizens. There was a time when illegals came for the season then went home. What happened to that? Do you really believe in that democrat brain of yours that these illegals are risking death for minimum wage?
I do not know which is worse, them or you. You are just as bad for America as they are.

The point is, Steve Jobs was JUST A MAN, not a hero.
He could have sold Apple products at an affordable rate to schools here in the US, but he was greedy and wanted more money. He took factory jobs to China (keep in mind Government Run) so they did not have to pay a fair wage, worry about safety/environmental regs, nor pay benefits! Keep in mind, the iphone can and does track you like BIG BROTHER. Is that worth paying more money for?
The man once thought if he ate only apples he would not have to take a bath as often. What?
Watch 60 minutes tonight.

Why don't you do an accounting of how much Obama has profited off of the Wall Street mess and report it, honestly, to us!
Ask yourself why when the USA is crippled would Obama want to give illegals preference over American citizens!
Why did Obama worship in a church of white hating, American hating blacks who make no apologies for their hatred for 20 years!
Ask yourself if we Americans don't see through your crystal clear agenda for supporting a homegrown American terrorist and what do you have to gain in all of this?

I don't know how to respond to stupid remarks.
How did Obama benefit for WallStreet; W.'s friends did. Obama reached out to GE "Corporate America" only to have the CEO say that he is head of a Global Corporation. Claims to be an American, but doesn't want to pay his fair share of taxes. These corporations say that they have over a trillion dollars parked overseas, but want a tax break to create jobs. I say give them the tax breaks for only good jobs (w/benefits) created here in America!!!
You hate black people, how can you judge others?
Homegrown American Terrorist, What? I am as American as Apple pie. Believe in the American Dream. Believe in "reasonable profits" after employees have been paid fairly with benefits. Use to be that you could retire from a good job with a pension. That boat sailed after Reagan gave the first tax breaks to the Very Rich. The country has been in a downward spiral since. Clinton put it back on track in the late 90's only to have W. steer it back into the ditch. The Iraq war costs more that $800 billion dollars (do you realize we paid for their civil war?). W.'s friends benefited from that war too (so much waste). So when you criticize the "Affordable Health Care" law, think about Iraq. The Iraq war should make you MORE angry!!!!!
I think you will look back on your remarks a few years from now (when you don't have Medicare / SS to fall back on and can't afford to retire) and realize that your racist views brought you down! Keep in mind, Obama will be just fine (as all presidents)! He is, and has always, looked out for the working middle and poor classes.

Apple Revenue Prompts Company To Give Big Rewards To Executives
This article will knock you socks off. They try to make consumers believe that the high prices charged for their products cover manftg.
China must be REAL cheap!!!
Did they fix that battery problem (4s) yet? Now that they admitted there is one.

Our nation may be better off when it's less super
It's time for the US to pay its fair share of military costs (NATO approved overseas military action) and ONLY its fair share!
Then maybe we can sure up Medicare and Social Security!

As usual, the site says alot of nothing. I have a very hard time believing any of this BS.
Sure, some of these immigrants broke the law; which law? This site makes it seem like they all went on a killing spree, did they? How many banks did they rob? How many home invasions? How much drugs did they bring in and sell the kids at school?
I am all in favor of sending back the illegal immigrants as long as we can keep them out and they DID NOT serve in military active duty. The costs of deporting them over and over again is HUGE. We need to fix the border problem first.
Any ideas about that? Or do you just want to continue complaining?

Which costs more: securing our borders or deporting them all that are here illegally?
We sure have money to secure other countries borders, why not ours?
This is a public forum, in case you forgot, I am free to complain or say anything I please. If you don't like it, just skip the post.

This article is comments from Gov't employee!
I can remember, as a child, hearing the reason that social programs were created.
It was explained that not all people were good with money (saving for a rainy day) terefore, social programs were created (Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamp Program and SS). Businesses don't pay employees a high wage so money could be put aside (collected from businesses through employer/ee contributions). But, businesses don't want to pay their share; rather keep the HUGE profits and see poor people suffer.
NEED TO WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE BEFORE THE PRICE GOES UP AGAIN!
M. Bachman, if you want poor people to pay taxes, go after corporations to pay them more - do the math or go sit with Rick Perry on the sideline!!! She is NO God fearing Christian!!!!

Serious, Have you ever met Steve Jobs, do you have any concept of how much money goes into technology. What do you do for a living?
I'm sick and tired of people acting like you that is a crime to make money. You must be jealous of him or have some kind of problem with people that work hard and in time are successfull. Do you know what the motto means? The government wants every dollar we earn if they could and that is why business owners like myself have to find ways to lower of gross corp income. Every company looks good on paper until you see what it cost to run that business. It's expensive because we are in a 28% tax bracet. You probably have a 8 to 5 job and can go home and relax, not me I have a company and workers to take care of. My insurance went up too and you can thank the Pres. you voted for for that. Doctors don't have any idea how fast cancer spreads and what activates it. I am a cancer survivor and I pay more for insurance because I have a preexisting condition. I don't have much coverage but it is all I can afford. I don't depend on government to support or subsidies anything for me. I want gov't out of my life. Look around, every state in this country is angry about with this Pres. and you are worried about Steve Jobs. He started with Bill Gates in a garage. My husband and I started in one of the bedrooms. I'd love to hear your response but if you watch the liberal media I feel sorry for you. They lie, spin or whatever they want to make the truth untrue. Please respond, Steve Jobs was a brilliant and giving man and it is sad he has passed away. It's ugly for you to say such cruel statements about someone you have never met. I don't believe in gossip unless I hear straight.

R & D is very expensive. But Apple has made BILLIONS in profits and paid little tax. THAT IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY. In case you are not aware, Apple moved its corporation overseas - again NOT AMERICAN. How would it be, with the internet, if most people moved their bank accounts to a bank headquartered in another country and said "I don't owe taxes on money sent there". How would the US pay for education, infrastructure, healthcare..?
Steve Jobs pushed/bullied people. He came up with an idea and people around him made it happen. Did not start with Bill Gates - wrong story. Steve Jobs was GREEDY and was full of himself. The acid he dropped when he was younger maybe fried parts of his brain. With what you said, you really need to read the book written about him. Not what you think.
Experts looked at the wild claims that the Healthcare Reform will make costs go up and it was proven false. If anything, it will cause Medicare to be expanded and converted to a public option - taking For Profit out. The people will be able to afford the premiums and go to the doctor before it is too late (death). All other industrialized
countries have socialized medicine.
Healthcare reform will not allow insurance companies to deny coverage to someone with a pre-existing condition. You should be ON TOP OF THE WORLD about this. Before, people had to stay with their current ins. co. and pay ever escalating premiums.
Gov't used to be called the beast, now it is the 1%. 99% needs to take back American and starve the beast.
I have to say, the more posts I read, the more convinced I am that people don't believe in God; rather the all mighty dollar.

One more thing, and i think you may agree with this.
Small business is the engine that moves this country; corporations have moved factories to China...). The one thing that holds back small businesses is that they cannot attract/retain talent because they cannot always offer health insurance (at a reasonable price) and retirement (401k).
Expanding Medicare (take For Profit out) so employers/ees share the cost. People go to the doctor for evaluation; if they choose not to follow medical instructions (lose weight, quit smoking, quit drug abuse problem...), their premiums go up along with deductible and out of pocket.(Same thing goes for Medicaid - limited procedures if medical advice not followed). All people need to be held accountable.
Small businesses, if profitable, could then afford both health ins. and retirement for employees.
Medicare and Social Security was paid for and mismanaged through the years (by both parties). Repubs seem to think that these programs are social handouts. Why don't they give up their health insurance coverage (pay for it themselves) and retirement? I consider these government handouts!
Last thought - unless the Middle Class aligns itself with the Poor Working Class (99%), the 1% will destroy this great country!!!! Just look at what they have accomplished in the last 30 years.
You do realize that they want to put the tax burden on the Middle and Poor classes?
