Sounds like the main thing these people are concerned with is the economy and keeping jobs.
No one mentioned anything about the newly built Grayson Prison, which is costing the state millions of dollars to run while it sits empty!
Why not use that brand new prison instead of borrowing millions more to upgrade a old prison which they had to close down because of it's age and condition. Yeah, sure borrow another $43 million so the tax payers can get the increase.
Civil Commitment criteria needs to be returned to the original 4 crimes instead of the newly revised 28 crimes, which caused the clogging of the system in the first place.
If all of these people are so uncivil(yes some are, but not all) why hasn't anyone protested against having the Civil Commitment Facility in there neighborhood?
What is it going to do to the value of their homes?
What about the safety of the people who aren't locked up?

No one mentioned anything about getting help for the people that will be civil committed.... just that they would be put away, thus keeping certain people employed!
Money that's the bottom line.
