It is good to see that our law makers are concerned with what is really important. Don't bother to address corruption, the ever increasing property taxes or the gang issue. Let's address the war on tan lines. Can we please stop re-electing these idiots.

Tanning can have harmful effects (e.g., skin cancer). Those 18 and under are often so concerned with looking good that they either ignore the effects or just don't understand that it is harmful. Our lawmakers, be they good or bad, are there to help put into effect legislation for the protection of their constiuents. I agree taxes and gangs are also areas needed to be addressed, but it is commendable that they have the sense to not only focus on the obvious issues, but also those to help a group of people that depend on guidance at times.
