yep they have, and more evidence noew Cody was drinking earlier in the evening,......... he may not have been over the limit when he killed but he might have been when he drove to the game. That in itself is a bad sign of cotempt of the law.
Hes going down aqnd going down for a long time.

stacie,
you sound young and innocent. of course your family is devastated by the wreck. i understand your trying to defend a cousin... i bet he's a little older than you and you look up to him. please go back up and reread TLS51's comment on the previous page. cody broke the laws of georgia, beginning with underage consumption of alcohol. he will be found responsible for the accident and will be made to pay for his his wrecklessness. think about this... he will have a chance to grow up and maybe be out of jail someday. that is not true for people in the other car. that family's loved ones are gone forever. it will probably take a couple years for this case to be adjudicated and you have a lot to learn. |

Yes and Stacie, remember Cody will have lots of friends inside. A few really big and lonely long term "men" will be very protective.
He will wish he kept to the speed limit and if he had been drinking that he had not |

Ok. Stacie, quit with this. You need to stop blogging with these people. It isn't going anywhere. Cody needs us to support him, not argue with people who have no idea with what is going on. Stacie Please STOP!!!!

Rick, I think if you would look at the timestamps on the posts you would see that Stacie did stop ( and so did everyone else) 15+ hours ago. |

Four people lost their lives due to careless and wreckless driving. Stop trying to justify wrongdoing. EVERYONE who intentionally leave the scene of an accident is hiding something. I put more blame on the Cody's parents for not setting the proper example for him. Cody's dad knows whether or not Cody was drunk when he picked him up that night. If Cody were sober, dad would have turned him in that night but 'daddy' waited until the next day for son to sober up. Cody has a bigger problem than drinking and driving wreckless. Cody's parents have failed him miserbly. Apparently, they have condoned wrongdoing all of their son's young life. Now, What will mom, dad, and girlfriend do when Cody's conscious begin to bother him and lead to more problems, perhaps bad behavior?
|

Jessica, Cody has a problem accepting responsibility for his actions. Mom and dad are not helping him now and has apparently covered up for their sons bad behavior in the past. A judge and/or jury will decide if Cody is responsible. The biggest crime committed has been by Cody's parents. If they had given him the proper guidance, and not condone bad behavior, Cody probably would not be in this situation today.

I agree |

you know nothing about Cody or his family! he would never do anything to hurt anyone! and the what does the his "buddy" have to do with it.? yeah hes a passenger, he had probation violation and all that but the people in the limo werent wearing seatbelts! and the media doesnt point that out because they are ignorant and are focused on putting cody at fault! he does not deserve to be in jail! i mean what about the guy that worked at publix and fell asleep at the wheel, he killed four people and was NOT put in jail until they found him guilty. the only reason they are so focused on cody is because he is a young adult! but come to think of it, do you seriously think that he is guilty? i mean his dad gave the hotel guy a business card and a description of the car, if you were guilty of vehicular homicide would you leave your business card and a description? NO! I think not! i think he is innocent, but we dont matter the people that say they saw it happen and the lawyers and all the "important people" matter. so why sit on here and bash on someone that you dont know!? |
|
|
Jerssica, the guy from Publix, well,........ firstly did not leave the scene of an accident, secondly he passed all drink and drugs tests from samples taken immediatly at the time of the accident (NO 24 HR DELAY) thirdly he did not deny being at fault.
As for the seat belt issue ALL local and national prees have stated the seatbelt status as per the police report. U think the judges reaction is more to do with the after accident events. Yes the father left a card, as well as the car with TAG # easily traced card or no card. As every one says, if Cody had not run things might have been different. So bottom line Jessica would you swear on the life of your first born child not being killed in its first six months of life that YOU PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT CODY IS 100% innocent? that he was NOT speeding at all? that he had absolutely NO ALCOHOL in his system at all? that his driving was not as fast as to give another motorist to call 911(2mins before the Accident)? That Cody and his father had no alterior motives for the delayed surrender to police? |
|
Jessica, give it up. Cody caused the accident and four people died as a result of his actions. I agree with other posters, his parents have probably covered his butt for years and because of this, he came to believe he could do what ever he wanted to. This time, he is going to pay and his father might pay too. The deaths of four people cannot be sweep under the rug. |
|
I agree, I don't believe he intended anything of this sort, but that is why there are charges of reckless driving, vehicular homocide, DUI (if applicable). these all reflect lack if intent to do harm. Be if he is found responsible (guilty) he will have to pay for his crime. I agree with stacie that the racist comments are absured. Not all of us are racist. I look at the evidence. I also would hope if I were in trouble that my family would have my back. but I can tell you that they wuld ensure that I took responsibility for my actions and that is what I have a problem with here. |
|
Absolutely |
|
His intentions do not matter. His driving was dangerous and he ended up killing four people. It is time to pay for what he has done. I hope his father pays too. |

I agree
