Mrs.Nash made Gwinnett a better place in the past year. Glad she's in the big seat. Gwinnett is one of if not the best county in Georgia for quality of life. We are lucky to have the leadership we have.

Are you being sarcastic? No, Gwinnett has a horrible quality of life. Fifteen or 20 years ago, prior to the proliferation of subdivisions it was a nice place. The traffic is awful and gets worse every day. Residential developers come in, build subdivisions and breeze out with millions while tax payers are left holding the bag to make improvements to support out of control population growth. It costs $6,000.00 per year for students in Gwinnett. Are we getting that much in sales tax revenue and property tax revenues from four bedroom $200,000.00 homes?

We have horrible traffic (some of the worst in the country), chain restaurants where you have to wait two hours to eat, very little in the way of culture, crime is rising quickly. The County Commission never saw a development they would say no to. They are building residences (built with cheap materials as well) now at close to pre--bubble levels and builders are giving buyers the down payments on "paper," so they are really not coming up with down payments at all. Another bubble looms.

[All the concerns mentioned continue, now an additional subdivision proposed directly on the Yellow River, one of the few open areas remaining. I understand tax dollars, but this is contrary to common sense, a known flood zone, an ecological disaster, Nash ought to be ashamed & ousted!]
