Accidents happen but this was no accident. The Acura was driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed.

This was vehicular homicide.

This scuzzball needs to go to jail and have the key thrown away. How on this earth can you have that kind of a collision and have absolutely no idea that something happened? What a bunch of BS! How convenient that he waited until the next day to turn himself in when his blood alcohol could not be tested. Enough with fathers protecting their speed demon little boys.....give 'em up and make them pay!

Dear God, please bless and be with this family and give them hope in their time of loss. Please lift them up and give them new reasons to live. In Jesus' name, Amen.

To the family: there is always hope, even when times are at their darkest and you can't imagine what to do next. Please use your tragedy to help other people so that your loved ones can live on in the hearts of those you've helped. God bless you.

"My client was driving, and he was hit in the side of his vehicle," Sliz said. "He spun out of control, and basically was unaware that such a collision had occurred, and what happened after it."

...I'm not buying this story...

I hope this kid spends atleast 30 years in prison for this. What a lame excuse: His lawyer says he did not know that he caused it, yet he didn't stop either. What normal people do when they are in a wreck.

I've seen that same kind of insane a$$hat driving on the rare occassions that I put my life in jeopardy on the Interstate in Gwinett.

"Who on earth are these people," I ask?

Oh, it's just some 20 year-old moron who was raised wrong."

Nice work, Carmine.

It all makes sense now. He fled because he didn't realize he had been involved in an accident. What an f-n joke. If the article's account is credible, there is little doubt where he gets it: his old man. Charge them both.

Me neither......... He was reckless and needs to own up to his actions.

I was there, in traffic, for 2 hours. I prayed and prayed that everyone was ok.....I was about a quarter of a mile from the scene.

We all need to let those who are trained to investigate accidents finish their job and for them to make the correct determination as to what happened.

Hearsay evidence and emotional outcry does NOT solve any mysteries, nor convict the guilty party.

A private limo from the airport is not that expensive. What is your point?

Have you ever looked into it? Its the same price as a cab. Don't be so ignorant. That was a stupid, cold, insensitive comment.

I see reckless driving like that almost every time I'm on the highways. When are we going to start doing something about people like that who put others' lives at risk? I would be fine with just about any measures that law enforcement officers decide to take to stop this type of driving. Unfortunately, it's already too late for many families.

It sounds to me that he went home or called his father and the father came to his rescue and took the car to the hotel to be found. So that he could get his drunk son home to sober up. Because someone saw that car up near indian trail before it was brought back near the scene. His father is covering for him, so that he wouldnt have to pay for a DUI charge and now they are using this "I didnt know" crap! His father needs to be charged as a accessory to this crime. He's just going to do it again and again if he gets away with this.
