Do not say something out in the open if you really do not know what happened at the time. there was no lap dance with an elderly driver. you have to be sitting down for that and the driver was clearly standing up fueling a bus. so how old are you to get on topix of all rumor starter sites to say something that is not even true. check your information whether you were there and just did not see right or just do not like the secretary and trying to start something.

This is not the first time i have herd about unproffesional things going on at the bus garage, concerning the secretary. To Stop the rumors perhaps the board of eduacation needs to interview other employees about the secretary's job performance. This Could Alleviate all rumors, wether false or true. I would hope that all school employees have a higher ethical standard than what has been posted above.

I can imagine what goes on in the bus garage, they are the rudest people on the road,I get cut off every day. When I am picking my child up every day a bus stops traffic on broadway and Saffell and lets every bus out. Traffic goes back to main street. I hear them talking about kids in public. I seen them Texting and talking on the phone. And they have the nerve to get rid of Tim Brothers the nicest man you would want to meet. Did they fire him because he actually cared about the kids?

What about that Jeff Ping guy..... He got arrested AT the bus garage last winter and didn't even get fired!!!! That should say ALL you need to know about how things are done at that place!!! If you worked at walmart and the police came in and arrested you, that would be the end of your job...... and these are the people driving our children!!!

That is why I drive my kids to school! There is a bus I see everyday that instead of driving around the sub division backs up the bus a good 500ft and does a sharp turn she has almost hit me on several occassions. I am not saying most bus drivers are bad but some should not be driving. They think they own the road which is dangerous for the kids and other drivers.

Bus 18 pulled out in front of me today, why did you do that? do you not have to follow the same rules as every driver. you are going to cause an accident. Is it that important to get to ECC that you would endanger the kids. What if I was not quick enough to put on my breaks and hit the bus. Is it arrogance or stupidity.

I think most of the bus drivers do a very good job. I know their first concern is safety. If we all were more courteous and patient with each other we'd have an easier time of it. There is quite a bit of traffic in the 'burg at times and we all need to be more considerate. I know some people drive with an attitude of rage, and get mad at every other driver. This seems to me to be the sort forum to slander other folks and hurt their character. A lot of you who are talking viciously about the bus drivers sound like road rage drivers. Then we see each other at Kroger and act all nice. If we did the same on the road it would be great. Even if you have to fake it (to be nice), it might make YOUR life better.

Your so quick to call bus drivers horrible and rude, Have you even thought about how stressful their job must be? If you think you could do a better job why not apply for a bus driving job. The anger and rage in your comment I seriously doubt you could handle a bus load of children and keep your cool. Can you imagine driving down the road with 60 or 70 kids behind you? I know just having my own three in the back seat is enough for me. I personally want to thank each and every bus driver out there for getting our children to school and home safe everyday. You do a great job.

First, you should learn how to spell correctly before making a post. Then, you should realize that driving a bus is no easy job. She is a great bus driver. I can't say that about every driver. There are some lousy drivers. I saw one take the whole curb out myself at the middle school.

The arrest
had NOTHING to do with his job what so ever so why should he lose it? Some higher ups didn't get fired for drinking, now shut-up. Bus drivers have to tran for their jobs, don't thinks so with wally world.

I agree with you, Info. The higher-up was not just drinking, she got a DUI. Which would have meant immediate dismissal for any of the ones on the lower rungs of the ladder.

Really!!! I have been a bus driver for quite some time now and if I had a dime for every time a car pulled out in front of my bus...I would not need to work anymore period! I guess people think, "oh, it's just a school bus, it's slow. I have plenty of time!" Fact is, it travels the same speed as the rest of the traffic and it takes a bus longer to stop! I see other non courteous drivers who will not let a bus driver out. There are some that do,(thank you)but if it weren't for other bus drivers letting each other out, we would never get the children to school on time. We do have schedules to keep but our motto is safety first schedule second. Although accidents do happen, it is not our sole purpose to cause an accident.

Get off the cell phone, pay attention, and please be courteous, if you had hit the bus You would have been hurt not the bus or kids. If you hit a bus your car will look like a tin can as they are built strong. Since she was allegedly pulling out in front of you why did you not stop? GET OFF THE PHONES PEOPLE.
