Just go smoke some weed. I've smoked serenity, spice, spice gold, several other legal highs and nothing compares to some good chronic. Sure, if you're smoking some shitty regs a legal, herbal blend might get you lifted like weed, but it can't touch the high of some good shit like AK-47, White Widow or some Grand Daddy Purps. Plus if you know the growers it's much cheaper. I get my purps at $280/oz, don't see you getting your shitty serenity anywhere near that cheap and you're not getting anywhere near as high. Drug tests aren't hard to pass either, even if you smoke a lot. I've done it more than enough times.
