does anyone have or had any problems with the city police in lawrenceburg? tell me whats up with this, when certain people in lawrenceburg can do what ever they want to.I MEAN BREAKING THE LAW IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS SUCH AS SELLING DRUGS,DOING DRUGS AND STEALING FROM EVERYBODY.
and if you inform the city police about these things, that you know for a fact is going on in your neighboor hood, then guess what? your the one in trouble, and not your neighboor.we have reported these events to three different city police, and nothing is done, A CITY POLICE WENT TO MY NEIGHBOOR AND TOLD HIM ,THAT HE HEARS THAT THERE IS HIGH TRAFFIC IN AND OUT OF HIS HOUSE,AND THAT HE NEEDS TO COOL IT.IS IT NOT BAD WHEN YOU REPORT A CRIME AND NOTHING IS DONE ABOUT IT,THE THREE POLICE THAT WE TOLD WERE FRIENDS WITH MY NEIGHBOOR.. POLICE SAID THAT IF WE CALLED ON THE NEIGHBOOR AGAIN THAT WE WOULD GO TO JAIL..........I GUESS THAT YOU FIND OUT WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE IN LAWRENCEBURG..........

Yes, I heard this happened to Sicily Yoder's mom- a cop yelled at her. I was in total shock, as Sicily Yoder has only had dealings with the cops when camera people from Canada, where she films her cooking show, were chasing her, due to a Starbucks Gossip page online, that called her a, "DIVA." I heard about it online. Its sad when you have a local celebrity who has rose form poverty to do good, and one local officer takes up for a deadbeat instead of her mom. However, on the upside, I've heard of Sicily bragging about officers escorting her out of town, when she has had to leave early, due to catching a flight for her travels, and that is good, but I didn't hear the officers names. So there are good ones and bad ones.

yes, and some think that just because they are related to city officials (wether it be police,or whatever) that they too can get away with things. But, don't worry, everyone always gets caught..... eventually

Probably, They sell food stamps (which should go to their children) and sell pills. Unfortunately, they get away with it. But, yes there is a but, if you get it on video, these transactions, and can prove it to be of some interest to law enforcement, there is a Federal Bureau of Investigation in Frankfort, I think on Broadway, that might be interested in your problem. Also, there's the state police. You might need to address this problem to someone higher up in our PD, and just skip the rookies, that are young and impressionable.(Not all are like this, but unfortunately there's corruption everywhere.) Good luck with your endeavors.

There is bunch of people going to a city meeting,on the second Monday of April.Alot of people are tired of all the games that are being played around here.ALL people should be treated with respect, you see, a neighboor called the police dept.and told them that someone has parked their truck in the middle of the street and has left it.Well, we live on a very narrow street in town. And two cars have trouble getting down our street .It was around 3 and time for the bus to come down the street, so the police dept. was given a call about the truck.so we watched for the police to come,to remove the truck.BUT GUESS WHAT ? THE POLICE DID NOT STOP,[ we were told that the cop knew this person] THE COP DROVE RIGHT PASS THE TRUCK SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.[ WE SAW HIM DRIVE PASS ]SO MY NEIGHBOOR CALLED POLICE DEPT.AGAIN AND ASK WHY DID THEY NOT STOP ABOUT THE TRUCK.MY NEIGHBOOR WAS TOLD THAT THE COP SAID '' THE TRUCK WAS NOT IN THE ROAD ''And so my neighboor hung the phone up.Then she gets a knock on the door, and its the cop that drove pass. That cop jumped all over this woman. This woman is almost 70 years old, with heart trouble.she was told that she had better not call the police dept. any more or she was gonna go to jail..And all the other neighboors hear this cop screaming at her...JUST BECAUSE SHE CALLED THE POLICE DEPT.

Sicily Yoder's mom is not a nut- she is an honest, Christian lady who works out in her flower and vegetable gardens and bothers noone at all. She has the biggest heart, accepting many, many folks as her own kids. She lives on Ballard Street, and I'm not putting the address, as I know her daughter, Sicily Yoder, has been bothered by stalkers, so I'll leave it at that. I bet Sicily will be at the town meeting if she isn't on tour. That officer had no right to yell at her elderly mom, who has heart trouble.

I can not understand what is going on in this world any more.People every where are talking about how rude that cop was to that senior citizen. How he was screaming and yelling and being just very mean to her.Just because she called the police on someone that was parked in the middle of the street.I AM SORRY, BUT I HATE TO TELL PEOPLE THAT I AM FROM LAWRENCEBURG.BECAUSE THIS TOWN IS NOT A GOOD TOWN TO RAISE A FAMILY.THATS WHY I AM MOVING

Yes, and Sicily Yoder is former Amish!!!! So if they treat Christian people like that and ignore the criminal people, then that isn't justice to me. I'll be at the town meeting. Lets all go, and defend this Senior Citizen. I asked Sicily's friend, Mona, if she was going to the meeting, and she said that she was not going because she would be on tour in Indiana. She did tell Mona that another cop had apologized for that rude one. I thought that was good for him, so there are the sour grapes and the good vines in Lawrenceburg.

See you there.

I wasn't saying that she nor her mother were above the law. What I was saying was that her mother is a very nice elderly lady who bothers nobody, so the cop shouldn't have yelled at her, where the neighbors could hear it. Sicily Yoder is a local author that travels doing cooking shows, I think in Canada, maybe Montreal. I have signed copies of all of her books- she writes Christian romance novels and cookbooks, and she is very nice, and has never gotten in trouble with the law, nor has her mother, so I thought that they shouldn't had been treated this way. I promise, I know Sicily, and she isn't a druggie like some entertainers- she is very Godly. You can search her on the internet and see that she has no negative media, except for some jealous girls that beat her down online. Are you sure your not one of them, since you mentioned that she wasn't, "too famous", as that sounds like some of those jealous girls. Sicily is pretty popular, search online and you will see, as well as www.famousbirthdays.com , where I just seen her listed there.
