Douglas County Building and Zoning Inspectors

New Resident to Lawrence

Manhattan, KS

#1 Aug 10, 2011
I just purchased land outside of Lawrence and am excited to be a part of such a neat community, but as I am building my home I have been treated terribly by the Douglas County Inspectors. Has anyone else had this problem or is it because I am from out of town?

Ps- I am a nationally licensed general contractor and I operate a good sized company. I know how to build correctly and up to code and have never encounter this in any other county or city I have built in. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to hear my concerns.
