How about; 'McCordsville, see out tooth!'

That's a better slogan.

We discovered McCordsville not too long ago. We love the small-town feel and the community and appreciate the closeness to the bigger cities. It's a great fit for us!

'Next Stop McCordsville'

That sound like you are on the tractor shuttle at the State Fair.

..."Next Stop, Pioneer Village"...

Is the Police Department out there still a 2-bit Mickey Mouse operations run out of the end of a flea-bag motel?

No. The flea-bag motel has been torn down and replaced with an empty stripmall.

Please Stop McCordsville!

The empty strip mall has to look better than the half full roach motel.

As for the Police, the same idiot still runs the place. Guess they haven't figured him out yet

Those police will pull you over for anything, be careful out there. I live just down the road, and the Meijer will be a welcome addition. Anyone else think the Wal Mart at Sunnyside is an understaffed dump? I do....

Instead of a slogan, they should have worked on getting some decent officials in their system. People with no common sense or intelligence who are unwilling to work with anyone best describes the current staff.

Of course. And when you complain about drunk neighbors in the street talking very loud at 2 or 3AM (as drunks are known to do), when they do come out, they cut up with them in the street. McCordsville is a joke of a police dept.

the best thing mccordsville has going for it is tim's bakery--best yeast donuts around!

as for the slogan, i think that was the beckon call of the developers who built on the fringes of geist and decided to head towards pendleton pike

only two reasons to go to mccordsville--to pass through it on my way to indy from east fishers; and to buy donuts at tim's
why do dumb people breed

The Wagon Wheel is a decent place to eat...I personally like the town, it is a small piece of old time Indiana minutes from the city. The post office is great, totally from the 50s-60s and much better service than the Oaklandon branch...The Caboose is cool too. Don't forget the guy that sells gold clubs...he will make you anything you want. I bought a great steel shaft driver from him a few years back. Just look for the golf ball mailbox as you head north on Mt. Comfort Rd. (after slowing for the school zone of course), it's on the right.

I grew up in McCordsville, however, I haven't been there for years. What is going on? Is it not going to be McCordsville anymore? When I lived there, we had Dkyster's bait store, car lot, gas station, post office and that's about it. Oh yeah, there was a body shop and restaurant at the end of town. I was there about 12 yrs. ago and observed a little growth..I would love to visit..
