BADDA BING!!! Just saw the news story. It was on the West perimiter of the old theatre next to the pet food store that had those business spaces behind it. Decomposed so badly that they can't even tell the sex as yet.<quoted text>
Pet food store??? It's a veterinary clinic and boarding/grooming place.

I think we can all safely assume that's the year you got married.
Several months ago an out of state semi truck was parked there for a couple days. Kids ride bikes thru that area so the area is not with out some traffic.

From one who knows? How do you know it's not her? Should you be a person of interest, because otherwise you shouldn't know. The story cleary says it's not known yet. Creep.

Well we know its not Zachary Snider who was murdered 14 yrs ago this coming Sunday and then thrown under a bridge. We also know his killer Chris Stevens is still on death row awaiting the death penalty. How far is that? Still miss Zach, just glad his family didn't have to wait 14yrs for him to be found.

If you are headed east on Pendleton Pike and cross Post Road, it is about half a mile ahead on your right just as you come to the entrance to the mobile home park on your left. As I recall there is a pet hospital, then a feed mart and spa place just before you get to the entrance to the drive-in.

I drive by there on my way to and from work every morning.

For those of you who are fortunate enough not to know someone who is going thru there own personal hell of having a someone they love missing and no answers! GROW UP! You've got to much time on your hands to waste to make such idiotic comments! I hope someone get the answers they've been praying and waiting for and they bring this person to rest!

cross: Ease up! It's nice to read this instead of the usual political garbage from some of the Lawrence -ites!
Sounds like this person has been resting for a long time. If you're Christian you know it's just a body and the soul left upon death. Dimwhit!!

Thank you Cross!!!! Sounds like that is exactly what these folks needed someone to say to them. It has nothing to do with "easing up", it has everything to do with RESPECT.Your not showing respect for the deceased, their family or the poster by calling names in your comment. As a Christian, we have certain rituals that are important to the surviving family........like a Christian burial......which apparently this person has not had......and as a Mother of a missing child, I can tell you that it means everything to be able to find our missing child and bury them properly and to just know that they are no longer missing. So......Ease up! and give other people a little respect and compassion......there are many families waiting to hear if this is their missing loved one. It's not a joke and should not be taken lightly.

Sad to see there is nothing new in this case, sad to see what i consider to be an "early withdraw" to a very important investigation. I have fished and mushroom hunted the henderson ford access site for years before and unfotunatly now, after brookley's missing. A few dives in the area, especially having problems on more then one occassion with weather/current is NOT enough. I firmly believe, with the location of her car/ he killers knowledge of the area, that her body does lay near that bridge. When do accept the fac that dogs, like people do make mistakes?......is it pride?......or ignorence?......is it a lack of county funds?......makes me sick!......considering the fact that the dead animals (road kill) are readily dumped in that area, and accumulate to excessive levels, offering several paths to mistake for K-9 units, as well as considering the fact that the whole area floods OFTEN, washing in new smells, and splaying out others, and also considering the fact that one K-9 unit did if-fact hit on brookley's sent in that area, it is hard to believe that more effort has not been set fourth by his county to find her remains. I myself at one time during a visit to that area with a friend who was a female EMT for the county, found bones that were unsually long, and called police to have them sent to a lab. Nothing became of it, leading me to believe it was a very large deer or something close to. with th recent increase in soil relocation, due to massive flooding, on a scale that has not een seen for a century, it seems that a kean pair of eyes, and a willing pair of legs, would have a very good chance of finding something, look at it this way, even if nothing as found on your walk, you have with a few minutes, and little effort launched a larger effort, and accomplished more the the entire county since 2003. I will continue to look for thegirl i never knew, because I do have the ability, and i see her pics, and i see her living life to the best of her ability in those pics, laughing, enjoying. She deserves to be found, her mother and father deserve to know, and Nowicki is hopefully stuck, between two worlds, lost, hurt, to never each his end, and NEVER be at rest for what he did, and for the fact that he had not he common caring to just tell everyone where she was. Don't know about everyone else that goes to henderson ford, but I know my eyes are, and wil always be open, for the girl who was never found. best wishes to her parents and family, and good luck in your continuing search for that which a parent can never end without her finding.

I just saw a picture of the suspect in Molly's dissapearance. I think I may have seen them at Kroger on Richmond Road in Lexington, Ky. It was winter 2005 or 2006. The woman was hiding crouched in a bathroom stall all dirty and dishevled. She appeared to be on drugs. A young man who I believe looks like Shelton sent me in after her. He said he was her ex and he was trying to help her. At first she refused to go with him, she could not even tell us her name. As we discussed calling police, she suddenly agreed to leave with him. I think he may have had an army jacket on, maybe 5'8, no more than 140 lbs, brown hair. She was petite, maybe 100lbs. light brown hair, shoulder lenghth. This happened in the middle of the night.
