What a nightmare! Thank you for rescuing this family. There are so many cruel people in this world. Bring him the greatest confinement possible. God help them get to a normal life.

I sure hope they do to him, what he did to his wife and his family. I can not even fathom keeping my kids locked up for that long, without getting help. I have been in a very abusive relationship, and I ended up leaving.

First of all, who edits these articles? Obviously the Sr. Editor of the Lavonia Community Herald, or whatever stellar publication this article first appears. "...the investigator had to where a gas mask" It's wear. Where used in context is as follows. Where were the authorities during all of this? Where was the mom's common sense during all of this? Where exactly is Lavonia, Ga?

Secondly, Jashaka Jackson is quoted as saying, "He was always talking to my son and to my boyfriend. Just being normal like normal people do." Ummmm, hey Jash, "normal" people do not imprison, abuse and rape their wife and four children, while confining them to a foul smelling, garbage filled, bug infested double-wide.

That is what I am trying to figure out. And if the smell was that bad how could the neighbors not get a whiff of it. Weird for sure.

Trailer Parks, whaddya expect, the smell goes like this:

OMG - this kind of stuff perplexes me - I think I would run out that trailer after one week......get help for the others. Its not like they were born in the trailer, they knew about life on the "outside"....3 Years it took her to get help, I think they all need shrinks now. God help them.

sheeesh, is this not the year 2008?- what person in their right mind would Allow another person to do this to herself, much less to her children!- thank goodness they have been 'rescued',- now they will need a lifetime of therapy -

Really? You would allow yourself to be confined for a whole week before you went for help?? Hell no! That's the problem, why would you allow yourself to be confined by your husband for any length of time...it's your husband, not a stranger or a kidnapper that is holding your captive.

I hope that these kids can adapt to a normal life and the mother really needs to get some help, that is not normal to just lay down and let this happen to you, much less your 4 kids.

This guy should be hanged. No joke, hang the guy. Or better yet confine him to a dirty rotten trailer for the rest of his life. A couple major questions arise but I will not ellaborate. This guy is a pathetic waste of space and should have been thrown in a dumpster as a baby. Say what you want you bunch of p***Y liberals but I feel people like this deserve to die.

That where he's been living, it's home sweet home for him.

This really is sad and pathetic. There is obviously something wrong not only with the husband but with the wife too. How could she let her kids be imprisoned in what sound like horrible conditions? What the hell is wrong with people?

Those poor kids. Wonder if they'll ever adjust to a normal life. I sure hope they've been taken away from both parents.

I just don't understand how a woman can be so BRAINWASHED,or fearful of her husband like this. Those children will probably never be normal. Can she be charged somehow for child endangerment ?
