Why do you refuse to prove the things I have asked you?

1. How do you reconcile Matt. 5:14 and John 17:21 with a CoC viewpoint?

2. How do you reconcile the fact that the 1st century church in Antioch, the one Peter started, the one spoke of in Acts, did not hold CoC views?

3. How did the 1st century churches use the new testament
as their guide when it was not completed yet?

The conservative Church of Christ disagreed over the personal indwelling of the Holy Spirit; thus a debate was held. One Church of Christ preacher says the Holy Spirit personally indwells the believer and the said NOT TRUE,mean it is a false teaching and said that the Holy Spirit only resides via the written Word. Some even spit over these opposing doctrines.

Johnny Robertson calls the personal Indwelling of the Holy Spirit a false doctrine taught by some within the Church of Christ.

Today, you called this a true doctrine.

You guys cant agree on doctrine either, but as you stated over on Martinsville Va topix, your brethren remained in fellowship after debating the opossing doctrinal views, thus we have the same right to agree to disagree.

Folks, dont be fooled by Shawn, he paints this picture as if he and all conservatives teach and practice doctrine the same, when they do not.

Just a few months ago Shawn and others were in a heated mens meeting regarding marriage, divorce and remarriage. This is yet again another doctrine that they disagree with each other.
