Two charged in Sunday slaying

An early morning argument among several men Sunday led to the shooting death of Joseph H. Burnette in the back yard of his home in western Gibson County , according to the Gibson County Sheriff's Department.

That Brandon Ayres shouldnt be allowed back on the streets. Wasn,t he involved in a murder in Gadsden a few years ago and the word on the streets is he is the one that beat that Cunningham boy and liked to of killed him. People seam to end up dead or fighting to stay alive around him. He just goes back to the county for a couple of mounths then he is right back at it again.

Jus to let everyone know the fight was set up. Ward and Reed was lured to the fight and come to find out people was payin to see this fight. Ward and Reed didn't know anything about the money. And yes Ayers got his ass whooped and from what i hear he deserved it. Some guys jumped in to beat Ward up and others to beat Reed. Reed had stole the gun earlier and had been havin thoughts of killing hisself. Reed pulled the gun out to protect hisself and told them to stop and jus pulled the trigger on Joe. Joe was known for jumping in fights that wasnt any of his business. Reed and Ward got in the car and drove off but at the same time others from the fight was chasing them while shooting at Reed and Ward. No its not right to kill anyone but if you thought your and someone elses life was in danger at the time they tried to jump Reed and Ward what would you do? Don't look at these to young men as bad people. Everyone messes up in their lives, some more than others, but all these young men know what they have done and i can personally tell you one of them has already changed. He didn't like bein in jail. And he knows what to do to stay out. Ward didn't shoot anyone. He just stepped up to a challenge and whooped some dudes ass and in the mean while it got out of hand but that isn't Wards fault. They both turn theirselves in. What more do people want out of these two. The lil bitch that set this up needs her ass whooped and put in jail.

There was one gun and one person fired it... And you are right, nobody knows what they would or would not do when put into another person's shoes.
As far as Reed, well I have no use for him and I dont even know the kid. But Ward, he has been in a lot of trouble, but people change and maybe this is what will change him.

actually come to find out there was more than one gun. They might not have found it yet but the people chacing Reed and Ward was shooting at them. A doctor in the ER that night over heard them talking about it. Reed has been in some trouble too but he had jus gotten a good job and was tryin to turn his life around. Also Ward has too but he hasnt ever been involved in anything like this before.

Ward fights all the time he even post video of him doing it on you tube. Before this all hit i was gonna actually talk to him about letting me train him to fight mma. He has good basic skills, but he needs some training to run with the big dogs. If he comes out of this without getting in much trouble, he could still have a shot. It takes alot of dedication to fight at the level i'm talking about, and i don't know him personally only from video a friend of his showed me. He would have to give up partying completely and be willing to train about 4 hrs a day, does he have it in him? I could have him in legit fights in front of big crowds for decent money within a year if he does. I'm just putting this out as a feeler to see what kind of response i get, any opinions would be appreciated.

Anon, im zach's older brother. he has trained mma for about 6months, but his school was shut down (smiths mma). he is tryin to get back into it, but laying low because of all this. come talk to me at work at the grocery store in dyer. i can get you in touch with him.

Glad to hear from you. We have an event this weekend and i'm covered up until after the holidays, but i will get in touch with you after that. I am familiar with that school, so im glad to know he has had some training. You guys just try to enjoy the holidays and have the best Christmas you can. I will be in touch soon, I am going to monitor this thread through the holidays, if you get a chance let me know his height and weight and where he is in his conditioning right now. If he hasnt been training , try to work on some cardio if possible we are gonna want to bring him in to the gym for an evaluation on conditioning and see him do a little grappling against somebody his size, with some bjj skills. we can try to set up something for the end of jan or early feb, that should give you some time to get him in shape. I will get my e-mail to you at the place you said you work after holidays, that way we can talk and have some time to set all this up. Good luck to you guys, he seems like a pretty tough kid from what i saw.

I am Zack's older brother's sister in law and to be honest either of these guys would be excellent for mma.
As far as what Zack did or didn't do wrong... Well, like it has been said many times, there are two sides to every story... Maybe you people should get his before judging.
