Carol Ann Peckham and her son, Kyle were good people. They came from a good family. And were active members in St. Barnabus Parish. Carol Ann taught CCD on Wednesday nights at the Fr. Riccio center. And her son was much liked in his first grade class. We recently attended a Gingerbread making party at her mothers house in Beachwood just last month. And found out first hand how nice Carol Ann and her family really are. My heart and prayers go out to her family. May God Bless Carol Ann and Kyle.

I have known the Rhinesmith family for over thirty years and they are the most genuine wonderful people that I have ever known! May the lord hold this beautiful family in the palm of his hand and give them the strength to get thru this very difficult time.

I am in complete disbelief of this tragic event. I am close friends with Charlie Rhinesmith, the brother and uncle to the Peckham's. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about them both. My heart goes out to Charlie and his family during this very difficult time. May God give them all the strength to get through this and watch over them. I will say a prayer for you, Charlie!

I just got the news of this earlier tonight. Kyle was little half cousin. I havent seen him since he was a little over a year old. My uncle, Kyle, and Carol Ann used to live with me and my family short after he was born. Carol Ann and my uncle split up shortly after they moved out, and i only saw them a few times afterwards. I still remember holding Kyle as a baby and my last memory of him was when i went with my dad to pick my brother up from their apt and Kyle was sitting in his high chair. Even though its been such a long time since ive seen them, i still concider him family, and my little cousin and i just think this was such a horrible tradgedy. Carol Ann was a good woman as well from what little i knew about her. She was always nice to me. May the Rest In Peace.

I just found out about this today and am still in shock. I grew up on Lionshead Lake, was friends with Carole Ann and spent a lot of time at the Rhinesmith's home. They are a very loving family. I chatted with Carole Ann approx. a year and a half ago on classmates. She seemed to be very happy and loved her son very much. I pray that their family will find peace through God's love and the knowledge that their beautiful daughter/grandson/nephew are both in His loving arms.

God Bless you all!

I grew up with the Rhinesmiths. They lived down the street from me on Black Oak Ridge Rd prior to moving to Lion's Head Lake in Wayne.

I knew Mike and Gary the best and my sister was friends with Carol Anne. A very nice family growing up. Gary used to tell me what a good sister she was.

What I liked most about the family is that Mike was probably one of the best high school linebackers in the history of NJ. He was a senior and I was a Freshman. He was not arrogant about his success nor was he abusive to the underclassmen.

I wish the family all the best during this terrible time.

I knew Carol Ann from Lionshead Lake, NJ I went to school with Mike and knew Dave and Gordon. I used to hang out with Carol Ann once in a while in the old neighborhood growing up. I am so very sorry to hear of all of this. My condolenses go out to the Rhinesmith family and to the other families involved as well. My god bless you all through this trying time.
God bless,

I never had the pleasure of knowing Carol Ann as much as i knew the boys, but if she was brought up by "Mr. & Mrs. Rhino" i know she was a fine, generous, kind woman of character. from "Mama" Velardi's boys to the Rhinesmiths, all our good thoughts and prayers.

God bless you all

I grew up with Kyle. Even though I was a few years older we would always invite him to come play with us at my grandmothers house. His mother was so kind hearted. Not a day goes by when I don't wonder why this happen to such a loving family. Kyle you're very missed by all the kids in the neighborhood. Carol Anne you are missed also by everyone who knew you better then I did. 5 years have passed and I still can't believe this tragedy.
