I have met him and he seems to be a pretty sharp guy. I think he'll be an asset to the PD.

The new sergeant is Brandon Davis. Who left FSPD because he was banging a trainee. Yeah, great asset to the PD.

Metro...... must be in terms of metro sexual I guess.... Brandon is a great officer who did an awesome job at FSPD! I assume you have always wanted to be a police officer and probably couldn't get hired at FSPD or any other agency for that matter so you want to throw stones at a guy who from those who worked for him say would have gone to Hell and back for him... as far as his banging someone unless you were a third wheel I seriously doubt you were present but then again maybe your girlfriend was...... seriously the man wouldn't have gotten into trouble for that because FSPD officers are always dating each other or other office workers or dispatchers..... if I remember right a few of them even got bj's on duty a few years ago so if this did happen and she was willing to do it who really cares..... guess your jealous you wernt holding the guys hips or something ..... you might talk to the guy who got arrested for slamming the city council member recently to see how that worked out for him before you go naming people since Officer Davis is married and your statement could very well be construed as slander..... I for one am glad he's working in Greenwood!

Did he seriously start working in Greenwood? Im not a big cop fan at all but a few years ago he stopped me and a few friends and I have to admit it was the most professional experience I have ever had with a police officer. I got a ticket but he really was cool about it and by the time he was finished giving it to me I actually thanked the dude. That hasn't happened before or since then! Not sure why he came to GWPD but the guys a good honest cop so im happy for him!

I've know officer Davis professionally for over 14 years. I'm not a cop, we don't hang out, and I don't have any intimate knowledge of his personal life. What I do know is, he's honest, fair, and professional to some of the most worthless people on the planet. I for one know, (first hand, which is more than I can say for some of you) that he is a good cop, and a good guy who doesn't deserve the slander. Welcome home Brandon. Glad you've got our back.

I hope that he is sharp. He probably wouldn't enjoy this line of work if he was dim witted. There is alot of infomation that must be retained, plus he has to use that same information to get the job done. Besides, he's got be smarter than the ppl he is engaging with in public. ie. dwi's/dui's, traffic stops, suicides, murderers, drug dealers, thieves, general bad ppl. And when I finally get to meet him, he better be the intelligent, entertaining guy you've lead me to believe he is.

The guy kinda scares me. I don't see how a place like Greenwood would keep him engaged in postitive activites. Swat, POV, a little bit of everything including a domestic that turned deadly in the last 2 years. This guy has some baggage. I trust Police Chief Dawson judgement. This officer is highly trained, no doubt about that. My concern is that he might be over trained. I would think Little Rock would be preferrable to him and they are hiring. If you google his name, you can see for yourself that FSPD gave him every "new" toy or responsibity and he still managed to get fired.

I think that you might just be expecting too much from him...Under all that cop bravado, is a human being, just as vunerable as you and me. Geez, so he has some baggage...he is a COP. He, fortunately for me, gets shit on everyday that he has to work with the public. It could be me that gets shit on by some asshole...but because he is there for me, to protect me, I don't have to deal with asshole. I appreciate all officers, even the complacent ones, because they still show up and help me. Now, his supervisors are supposed to step in and out of his career and evaluate his actions and perceptions. If he is having difficulty interacting with the public, they better be aware of it and make some changes so that the public isn't in danger and neither is he. It doesn't all rest on his shoulders.

I wish Officer Davis the best. He has a stellar career of service from being an MP to protective service. I think he will be a hugh asset for training all the new officers in police tactics. That being said, I still have concerns that he either forgot the rules applied to him or he thought he was above them. Laws, rules whatever apply equally to those in uniform or not. And no I'm not wigged out about the sexual accusations either. It's combined with his involvement with a shooting incident. I hope him the best and hope he wasn't acting out of character because of any unresolved issues with the shooting. He deserves the best because he has given his best. Like I said before, I trust Chief Dawsons judgement on this.
