A sign in front of a local church that links Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and terrorist leader Osama bin Laden is causing a stir in this small Union County town...

Just like they were saying REv. Wright's church (which I disagree with) shouldn't be considred tax exempt - because he is involved in politics at the pulpit - I feel like the same should apply to this church! I think both of them should NOT be considered tax-exempt.

As much as I dislike W. Bush, he made his first million off the tax payers in Arlington in the form of a local option sales tax to pay for the Ranger's stadium. Bush went in with several businessmen and bought the Texas Rangers. Then, with political pull, they got the town of Arlington to build them a stadium and then sell it to them for pennies on the dollar. They then sold the Rangers for several times what they paid.

Bush may say he's pro free enterprise, but every attempt he made in running a business failed. He made all his money off the tax payers. Now, everytime some poor single mom who couldn't afford to go near that stadium buys her kid a pair of shoes, she's paying for Bush's profit.

Thank God we live in a country were Obama can be our President, no-matter-what race or religion that he chooses. And Thank God we live in a country were a Pastor can put whatever he an his congregation chooses on the sign in front of their church. Right at the beginning I will say there will never be racial harmony in the United States because of one word-people. As far as anyone who thinks Barack is a "secret Muslim"...well, he's not. But if he were Muslim, SO WHAT? When JFK ran for president, people worried that a Catholic would make a terrible president, and would make decisions based on his religious doctrine. He assured the American people he would not, won, and kept his word. Islam, at its core, is a religion of peace. Muhammed himself, in the Quran, states words to the effect of "When you take one life, you have killed all of humanity." Could a non-fanatical Muslim make a good American president? Probably a damn good one. But he's not Muslim, so the point is moot. That church is fear mongering, and playing on the intolerance and ignorance of its congregation.
