Dont play the word change game, go reread my post OUR OWN LEGAL CITIZENS doesnt refer to me alone, but to you as well. Yep, when my money goes to support PEOPLE WHO BREAK THE LAW, PROTEST IN OUR STREETS,RAISE THEIR FLAG OVER OURS, i have to ask mysef Why, than realize i can do something about this, and did last year and plan to again when they try and force it down my throat again.Doesnt matter who's in office, if the people yell and scream like they did last year, they wont past any amnesty law, and than maybe more states like Arizona will enact laws which are causing illegals to self depot--love that law.

Regardless of whether you are legal or not all employers take out ss and taxes it all depends on the dependants and ss is automatically whether you want them to or not.

I think that a lot of these people have come here to better their lives and provide for their extended families back home. However, there should be a time frame for them to become legal or they must be deported. Deduct 25% from their earnings and put into an account. Upon the timely completion of their legal status, they either get a nice check or they pay their own way back home. But according to the article, it is not these people that they are talking about...the ones that break the law should not be housed but immediately sent back home on a bus. Buying a bus ticket has to be cheaper than $55.00 per day in jail plus other court costs.

Don't let all these people get to you I understand where you are coming from. Everyone thinks that just because people are here illegally that they are getting hand outs and they're not. They work harder, longer and for less money than any American. I know we have a lot of luxuries and the americans are spoiled. I know that if I were to go there I would not be able to survive, their way of life is very hard. I can't work for $5.00 or $8.00 a day and be happy and that is a big reason most of them cross over here. "The American Dream" that is b***sh**. Everyone wants them to enter this country legally well tell me how they can if the rules for a person entering from Mexico is different than a person entering from Costa Rica.

If you make $5.00 or $8.00 a day, how can you save $10,000.00 in your bank to apply for a visa to enter our country legally? Half of the Americans in this country can't come up with that much and yet the illegals coming here is such a bad thing when most of the americans have no idea and they just talk out of their A**!!!!! So I agree with a lot that you have said and the He** with the rest of them.

If a majority of folks would donate $20.00, law enforcement could build enough prisons to hold gang members and illegal aliens. I say let's go for it. Maybe we can start a petition.

Thanks loca!! The mayority of them try to come the legal way, but you know what happens every time they apply for the visa in their country they are charged a lot of money, they try a couple of times and then they risk their lives and the lives of their loved ones to be able to accomplish something in life. It shouldn't be that hard to be able to progress in life. I love waht you said about the AMERICAN DREAM! We don't even see it, but these people believe in it and that's why they come here!

That is a LIE.

Some employers are paying in cash, and deduction NO taxes, or social security at all.
Here in Los Angeles it is estimated that as much as 40% of the working people in L.A. are working for cash, paying no taxes. The L.A. County Supervisor attributes a large percentage of that number to be illegal aliens who are working under the table, because they do not have the legal right to be, or work in the United States.

Social security is NOT deducted on checks when the employee is using an ITIN (tax number).

IF employers ARE deducting social security on checks paid to illegal aliens, there is only ONE reason - that illegal alien is using a STOLEN social security number.

Using any SS# which was "made up" "bought, "given to you", "loaned to you", "belongs to a friend, or family member", or has a fake name, on it is a STOLEN social security number.
Any SS# that you get by using a LIE to get it, like fake name, or lying about your legal status in the USA, is a STOLEN SS#.
Using any kind of illegal or STOLEN social security number is a FELONY CRIME - for which the punishment is 25 years in federal prison, and a $250,000.00 fine, followed by deportation (with a felony record).

Think you understand that?
Or do I have to type it all again, and again, and again, until you get it?
And understand it.

If you small brained people would take a moment to look at things through someone else's eyes you would not be so judgmental. I lived in mexico for 4 months and watched little children so hungrey they cryed and there was nothing their parents could do about it. If some one is convicted for a crime besides traffic then yes deport them but if the only crime they are guilty of is trying to give there kids a better life I say let them stay. If we break up familes because one of the parents is an alien then it will just hurt everyone in the long run. Children without a father, mom has to work two or three jobs to support the children because no one with even one child can live on 10.00 a hour, not support from mom because she is working all the time. JUST THINK ABOUT IT FOR A MINUATE

I have, have they?? Did they think how they were going to support those children they had in Mexico if the conditions are that bad?? Im sure its bad, but they went ahead and had a family anyway full well knowing that they more than likely could not make it happen in Mexico. Split families, they also knew that was a possibility when they crossed the border, but they did it anyway. Were does PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY come in??

Maybe they should follow whatever rules there are to get them from where they are to where they want to be. Maybe it would be easier to go to Costa Rica illegally and then come here legally.

Most of the americans? Obviously you are NOT one of the americans, which by the way, begins with an 'A'. Which part of Mexico where america is spelled with a small(a) but A** is spelled with a big (A)?

I don't really think you believe that the illegals are paying taxes. Some ,sure, but not many. WE are payig taxes to teach Them English, for the ones that bother to learn. WE are paying taxes to teach Spanish to police officers, EMT's, teachers, just to name a few. They are getting benefits for free that most us,(Americans), don't get, and certainly not for free.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not promoting exclusivity. We all came here from somewhere. But we or our ancestors did it the right and legal way and we have paid our way and earned the right to be here.

this is not a Southern issue, it's an AMERICAN issue. I am assuming you are a legal citizen, correct? If you are, this should bother you just like the rest of us. The illegals are stealing from us, stealing our jobs, trashing our neighborhoods, stealing education from our children and America bends over backwards for the people who are ruining the AMERICAN way of life. Our founding fathers would probably roll over in their graves if they saw how the illegals are taking over this country. As far as the blacks, we have no problems with blacks in the south, we have a problem with ignorant people who know nothing about southern heritage but pick on the most trivial issues such as a freakin' flag and where it should be placed on the state house. We have a problem with ANY race expecting handouts and special treatment just b/c of their skin color. We have a problem with Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton who claim to be civil rights leaders, who ONLY come to the side of an "african american" and do not ever seem to get involved in any "white" civil rights issues. I am an not a true southerner, I am from the north, but live down south now. So it's not a southern thing, again it's an American thing!

There is a lot of hate in your words and you need someone to pray for you!
Kinda hard to talk to the illegals when they do not speak ENGLISH, and I for one refuse to learn Spanish!

Ok! I thought about it! We need to maybe increase our foreign aid and itr should all be in the form of sterilization and birth control. Now build two fences with a minefield in between. In fact a similar construction around a tent city would be good to detain illegals. Stop the invasion!

Yeah? Look around West Columbia. You can find little children in the same situation.
Got $? Got compassion for your own at home?
