You are absolutely right. We are talking of one lone store that no one would have heard about had this Minister not protested. Compare that to the daily fare we hear on the radio and see on TV. Twenty-four hours a day, our children and we adults are bombarded with rap music using the N- word, calling women Hos, treating us to foul language, treating us to undressed females.
So yes, you are right. There is no comparison to the public nuisance that is rap music. And there is no comparison to the daily bombardment of this "music" and its images.
then change the channel...it's no different than when you old people were listening to the wickedness of Elvis and the Beatles...sheesh!

Dave seems to be the type of person who would frequent an establishment of this type, as illustrated by his own hateful comments. As distasteful as this store is, it serves the purpose of reminding folks of the racism is alive and well in this country. Prayer vigils outside the store would seem to be a logical response.

Think that same Reverend will push to stop rappers who regularly use the N-word. Doubtful. Think that same Reverend will push to stop rappers who regularly define women as whores? Doubtful. Spend one half hour watching Russell Simmons "comedy" show. The black comedians he uses so disparage the community. It truly is embarrassing.
So this is all nonsense and should be seen as such.

I don't have a problem with the KKK having a store like this. They can do whatever they like and say what they like. Thats the beauty of America.

This is not a racial issue. This is simply a legal problem. I don't understand why the church would buy a building in which they can not end the lease of the occupants. That was simply bad business. It does not matter if this guy was selling Bible. They should seek to raise his rent to an outrageous amount or move to make his lease unbearable in some fashion. Before that they need to fire the board of trustees, the real estate agent or the closing attorney who did not disclose the clause in this lease.

You beat me to that punch regarding rappers and comedians. This redneck shop guy is ignorant, but I fully support his constitutional right to be ignorant.

Our local version of this type of store is "Wild Man's" in downtown Kennesaw (although I've not seen any robes for sale). Wild Man Dent Meyer owns his building tho, so he does what he pleases, as is his right as an American citizen. It's not a place I frequent, but it is something to check out at least once. He even wears a sidearm.

Long live free speech and the right to bear arms. and remember, "It's the Law in Kennesaw."

I think the Rev made a bad deal and now sees that he made the mistake of letting this man run the store anyway he wants to for LIFE. Again the Rev. made a poor choice, now he should live with his decision. Now because of this article every white radical extremist will be trying to buy merchandise to keep this guy in business. Another bad decision Rev.
