You can just about pick the name of every person that works at the Village Cafe (Greasy Spoon as you enter village) and look them up on the SEORJ (JAIL) website and see why people are staying away from there in droves.
They are dirty filthy people in their mugshots.
Look at inmates no longer housed.
Would make you sick on your stomach !!!!!!

I'm surprized the local dirty guy "Doobie' doesn't work there too.
He's just as clean as the rest of em.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, she's filthy dirty, her whole body reeks, her face and hair are scroungy, it's pulled back in a dirty pony tail, her clothes are dirty, her fingernails are dirty and yellow and the place where she lives looks and smells like a pigs sty.
Why would ANYONE see this woman and know she looks and lives this way and she's back in that kitchen preparing food to eat and your eating it ????
Oh my God I'm gonna puke..........

MY HOUSE is the best place to eat around Laurelville!!! Depends on what you want to eat, how much you want and what you can afford to pay! As far as restaurants go... The best restaurant in town is Old Town Diner if your looking for good homestyle food or Pizza & Subs. It has the best variety. Giovanni's for best Pizza. I think best Subs are at Sub Express! Village Cafe has generous portions BUT they serve cheap quality food and ridiculously high prices! L&J's is ok for a little Dairy Queen type place, they have good Prices! In fairness.. I hear the Ridge Inn is excellent a little pricey BUT the portions leave you hungry!

Subs-Steve's in Adelphi-he bakes his own sub buns daily. He also has a chicken pizza that is very tasty.
I've heard good and bad about Ridge Inn.
As far as the Diner and the Cafe. They are both your average Mom and Pop as far as their food goes. Both are good.
just sayin

Anyone that eat somewhere that there is dirty filthy people preparing your food must be out of your mind.
They live like that and when they are handling your food with the same dirty hands that they have not seen water for awhile just makes me sick.
There own way of living should be condemn and you REALLY think they are preparing your food cleanly ????

Eewwwwwwwww, Gag me......

Filthy bunch at Cafe.
Old lady that owns it is a money grubber and could care less if she has drugs and filth in her kitchen fixing food

It still blows my mind that all of you can go eat 'somewhere' that has dirty ,nasty druggies preparing food and you all think it's ok or normal.
You all live like the filthy druggies do too ?
You all know who I mean ,lets not be in La La land.
You know they are filthy in their everyday at home living , you know they are out of their minds with drugs, and what gets me the most that any clean person that live great lives would even consider eating someplace and knowing that dirty animals are handing your food .Here, let me not take a bath for a wek, sleep in my dirty filthy clothes, pick my nose, scratch my ass and snort a few percs and vicodins up my nose and let me fix and handle your food. YUM YUM

I like the Ridge Inn - its clean and the food there is good and somewhat unique over the other offerings in town. Neatly presented plates and nice people sometimes even a singer or piano player on the weekends and the Donuts are excellent. I dont want to be negective and feed into gossip but I do have to say all the comments on here about the Cafe make me giggle... lol Karma it can be a wonderful thing.

Giovannis is ok if you like to drink your pizza. It's really greasy. I don't eat there in the summer when they leave the back door open and the flies come in from the neighbors trash.
I haven't eaten at the ridge inn because its too expensive for me but it looks nice.
The village cafe is good if you don't care or know who is working.
LJs has great ice cream and is usually open later when I start getting the munchies. They have good pizza too.

Go to Steve's Pizza up in Adelphi. The guy works hard and puts out a great product. Calzones, subs, great burgers perfect pizza and a great bunch of other choices. They deliver to Laurelville too !!
Give them a shot. You'll come back here to agree.
Cleanest place and with an owner that takes real pride is Ridge Inn. Prices are good and eveything is very fresh. She uses her own homegrown stuff weather permitting. Organic beef & chicken etc.
