Horrible Customer Service

Goodman, MS

#1 Feb 20, 2009
Owner was rude toward customer, unappreciative and constantly rolled eyes. Will no longer provide service to this establishment and will advise friends and family to never set foot in that place.

We also had a bad experience there. The workers are snobby and rude. They are too busy talking to each other about non-sense stuff than to actually help a customer out. It has been quite a while since I've been in there, and it will be even longer until I go back.

We have used this bakery for many years simply because the cake was my father's favorite. The Owner -is- extreamly rude and snobbish. The Employees act as if they have something better to do than to wait on their customers and as far as the cakes... You make an order and they do it how they feel like they should instead of what you ask for. ROTTEN Service. I would NOT recomend this bakery to -anyone- untill they get a class in customer service.. though I believe it will take more than that to help these "Better than anyone" Type of people.

The cakes are freshly made. The staff is friendly and I would prefer their service to everyone. They just over book alot and have people waiting to pick up cakes.

I always order cakes from Teresa Cake Shop In Laurel,Ms.The cakes are freshly made daily. They have the best cupcakes in town. I enjoy their lunch menu daily. The owner is so kind and everyone always has a smile whenever I stop by. I highly reccommend this bakery to everyone. She made my wedding cakes and they were delicious and freshly made and so pretty.

Customer service is non-existent and the teenagers they have working in the store are lazy and clueless. The cakes are not that good and way over priced. Definately not the same since Teresa moved the shop to Laurel. I will not go back.

Teresa's was once the place to purchase cakes. Mrs. Teresa has always been nice but I cannot say the same for the big blonde which I belive is her daughter. I for one will never buy another item in this shop. The big blonde is the rudest person I have ever seen in a business setting and does not deserve business. I tell everyone I know not to waste their time or money in this establishment. I will drive out of the way to purchase items they carry just because of her attitude.

The big blonde is her sister Kim and you are exactly right. She has destroyed so much of Teresa's business because she is rude and has no customer service. What a shame good family business can be ruined by one bad apple.

Teresa's bakery is an amazing place to get great cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and all the little extra sweet snacks. Not only do they have sweet snacks, they now serve lunch, daily, and it is great. Also at Teresa's they have a new add on, called Gotta Have It Gifts. They have southern belle shirts, Kavu purses, shoes, jewelry, baby gifts, candles, and so much more. It is extremely convenient. I go to Teresa's all the time, and I enjoy it. They are always busy and that is great. People should learn to be patient and wait their turn. Kim, is not rude by no means and I think it is rude to say so. Neither is Teresa nor ANY of their employees. I will continue my service there, and I recommend everyone to.

Over priced

I loved M & M Bake Shop. I really miss it. I do like some of the items that Teresa's has but as the above people have mentioned they are rude and over priced on their producted. They act like they do not need the consumer to make their wages, but if it wasnt for us (the consumer) they would be sitting at home. They really need to reevaluate their attitudes and customer service policies.
2 Black Ladies in Deli

Whatever happened to the 2 black ladies in the deli? Whenever I came in, the food was always fresh and awesome. They kept smiles on their faces and brightened the place up. I've only been in there once since they were gone and the blonde haired lady, Kim, was in the deli. She is so rude. The portions she gave us was entirely too small for the price they were selling them for. And when I complained, she rolled her eyes and whispered something to the other employee in the deli. I havent been back since then.

I do not see how this place stays in business! I have NEVER heard ONE positive comment about it. THEY are so overpriced and the big lady that others have referred to is so unbelievably RUDE. She needs to get her a prescription for some PROZAC!!!! Whoever the owner is needs to wake up and fire her before they lose anymore customers.
seriously

They are not overpriced and EVERYTHING is wonderful up there. If you haven't noticed in this economy the price of everything has gone up. You wouldn't be complaining if it were groceries for your home or gas for your car. And I can't believe how a bunch of "grown" people are taking time out of there day to write out complaints. Seriously? I can guarantee at yalls place of work not every customer is satisfied. None of the workers are rude. They may get stressed out because they want to make sure everyone's order is done on time and correctly done and they DO NOT turn down an order. I LOVE Teresa's Bakery and I will continue to use them.
it goes either way

I must say that the food and sweets are delicious and the service from the young teenagers they have working is great. But the big blonde is just rude! The way she talks to the young employees is ridiculous. She tries to belittle them. They work the front so they know whats going on. She seriously needs to go to school and take a business class on how you talk to your employees. I use to love shopping in the gift shop, but there is nothing new in there. It's the same stuff I see every time I go in there. I loved getting the yellowbox shoes, but it doesn't look like she's going to be carrying them anymore. I recently read the "new policy" and it says if you have a question to ask for Teresa. Well I had a question and instead of coming out herself she kept sending the young girl waiting on me back and forth. If you are going to make a policy for your business, STICK TO IT. I feel very sorry for the young teenagers working at this establishment for having to put up with the big blonde's rudeness towards them and having to be the messenger.

Why would someone allow their business to be run this way. I have called and placed an order only to be told that they couldn't do it. I thought maybe something had happened so tried again a few weeks later....same result. The times I have been in the store I witnessed the worst customer service ever. The entire staff is rude........they act as if you bothering them. I will not purchase anything from them.....we drive to Hattiesburg ...it's worth the drive.
