I own, and on occasion breed, American Pit Bull Terriers too, and you know what? I do give a damn what happens to them after I sell them. As should you. Why? I'll tell you. Dog fighting makes the animal aggressive. And aggressive dogs are the ones who attack people. There's enough hype over "pit bull attacks" as it is. People are ignorant. And no I don't mean stupid I just mean uneducated on certain subjects. And if the time comes that breed ban legislation ever comes to Mississippi, those same ignorant people are going to vote to ban the beautiful animals. Then you're going to be out of luck. They're going to take your dogs away. Then what?
I have two beautiful pits as my pets that I wouldn't trade for the world. And if breed ban legislation ever takes them away, I blame you. Because you were a breeder who didn't give a shit. I just watched the vick story how horrifying to know that a human could hurt an animal that all it does is love. When a person calls a another a DOG that is a compliment. Animals love want to please and never hold a grudge. It's all in how you treat them it all starts with YOU

as an owner of 2 pitts myself (SYD V, and NIKKITA) my heart goes out to those poor dogs. My pitts love to cuddle are very intelligent. They aim to please and never let me down. The way they are represented by THINGS like Vick gives the breed a bad rap. Anyone that is introduced to my dogs always walk away with enlightened, educated ease when it comes to PITTBULLS.(AT LEAST MINE,4 SURE) My dogs have been with me since they were 5 weeks old and are socialized and patient and hillarious half the time we need to spell words due to the fact that they understand. It's funny!! I rescued another Pitt, RAGGS, and he jelled right in with my male and female the whole time he was here not one fight and since my dogs aren't crated neither was Raggs, I took a chance doing that but not regrets. My house stayed in tact and so did my cat that's right, my cat socializes with the dogs. I have since found a new home for raggs and am happy to say he is loved to pieces by his new owners....Fuck people like Vick let'em rot think it's great. There is a higher power!! WOOOO HOOOO I hope anyone that watched the Vick program has a better understanding of how gentle and loving these dogs can be given the proper environment
