I think that it sums up most of what I have to say, except...This afternoon, one of XXXX XXXXXX Police officers ..........TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: US DOJ CRIMINAL DIVISION:Ms Fisher, I write and call over and over to every local law enforcement agency in Mississippi, including Hattiesburg and Laurel, as well as the US DOJ. As you know, DOG FIGHTING is nothing new. However, the Vick case is not isolated in Virginia and I am taking it very seriously. As a HCP, I know these sociopathic beings...They are...(or become) the worst of the worst. By word of mouth, you can easily learn that "organized dog fighting"is occurring in Mississippi and probably Louisiana. I can offer the following information, which has been provided to anyone who will listen: On April 1, 2007, my husband and I pulled along side of an open-back truck labeled BAD NEWS(Z) KENNELS with cages of very injured pit bull terriers. Attempting to approach the vehicle was not easy due to dark tinted windows and speed. And because after locating an organized dog fight in XXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX sent me a letter warning me to stay out of this multi-million dollar business. I do not have even a small portion of your experience..but I do have the "will"...I am sad and I very angry. As far as the BAD NEWS(Z) kennels;The cages were within 3 feet of us, the license plate was from Louisiana, and the truck was labeled, "BAD NEWS(Z) KENNELS". Of course, I notified the Hattiesburg American and Lamar County Sheriff. Lamar Sheriff Danny Rigel emailed me immediately, expressing sincere concern over such heinous acts. However, I have no evidence of anything. Later in June,2007, this same truck labeled BAD NEWS(Z) KENNELS traveled Highway 98 near Weathers by Road again loaded with dogs. I attempted via phone information, Internet,and phone book to locate the kennels without success. When I learned of the association of BAD NEWS(Z) KENNELS to Michael Vicki,I cried. I will search for information to the best of my ability. However, in the past, Vice/DEA could expertly infiltrate these thugs with just a few tips by locals. I do understand the danger involved with ORGANIZED DOG FIGHTS...That alone warrants Law enforcement to investigate in states other than Virginia. Please send a message to these murderers of dogs now.. or to them later when they murder people by drugs, guns, and all things known to these VIOLENT CRIMINALS. I am trying to locate a gentleman, David Warner, from Bassville, MS, who is in prison somewhere? I do not have any reason to believe that he would ever be involved with DOG FIGHTING, but he surely will know who is. I would like to talk with him. Please do not cast my communication aside. way back we used to have gladiators and the roman colliseum was huge and filled with men and a minority of women who enjoyed watching men fight to the death or fight animals to the death. Perhaps a majority of men and a minority of women inately enjoy watching violence but it is looked down upon by our society as taboo, and so those people hide that aspect of themselves in order to be accepted. It's a damn shame you are hanging the man before any true investigations are done. I think it's a setup myself. I agree this is an unfortunate ordeal becasue the dog has a bad image to begin with. I myself have pitbulls and have beem around them all my life and no they aren't fighters but I have rescued some. They are the swwetest dogs you can own even the rescues and all the so called knowledgebale people out there say they can't be rehabilitated. I call BS on all of this.

I did 105 court community service hours at an animal shelter... Yes you can rescue pits... There are plenty of them... Pits that have been used for fight you cannot... There is NO rehabilitation for fighting dogs not just pits unfortunetly... They are very unpredictable and very aggressive its crazy... Ive seen it... They feed them gun poweder to make their stomachs hurt and they become super aggressive... if you think you rescued a fighting pit or dog you full of shit... those dogs are immediately euthinized... He owned a property inwhich a huge dog fighting organization was ran... Innocent until proven guilty... But come the fcuk on.. 18 page indictment... they prolly have cold hard evidence... he mostlikely will take a plea.. and go on with life... no pulling race cards... its a shame cuz he was such a talented athlete

ummmmmmmm there are rescued fight dogs that have become search and rescue dogs. In the magazine Bully breads, theres a dog named scarface who was a pit fighter. And now he saves peoples lives. Check him out in the magazine at your local pet store. So don't ever say they cant be saved.

I share a lot of the same feelings as those who think Michael Vick should be found guilty of SOME of the charges that he is facing. The problems is that many people (some that have posted comments) think that he should fry. The average child molester gets about 4 years in prison. The average murderer gets about 7 years of prison. The people involved with Enron who ruined the lives of many of their employees got prison time, but their massive fortunes where basically untouchable. I think that at the least knowing what was going on on his property should draw some prison sentence, but the real deal here is that people with money can protect their fortunes by playing dumb about what actually happen. I think that PETA needs to bring a massive lawsuit against Michael Vick as a facilitator of these actions and be forced to donate a good percentage of the insane signing bonus that he received to PETA and other animal protections orgs to help in protecting domesticated animals like dogs. The only problem is that PETA is so left=wing that no one in their right minds would want to give them more money so that they can debate whether livestock should be consumed. Leave it to PETA and we would all be eating Tofu and soy burgers instead of the food that has feed our society for centuries. If it was any other organization pushing for Vick's incarceration (other than the KKK) I would be all over it. But PETA has its own agenda and I think that they have single-handedly pushed this case to the limit. I want him to pay, but not the way that PETA wants him to. The best way of sending a message to rich violators is to hit them in their pocket. The best way to get back at Vick is to take some of the money that he has taken from the fanes of the NFL who have basically paid for this guy to live like a king.
