honey, know what happened, it wasn't segregation at all, it was when the government took the paddles away from the teachers. and the parents took up drugs and everything but child rearing. A gook ass whoopin never hurt nobody.I'm not racist but I could see it beginning when the schools were intergreted, years ago. I've always thought that was a mistake. Forcing people to go to schools they didn't want to. I remember when kids took pride in there schools back then, whether it was Oak Park, Laurel HS, didn't matter. Nowadays, schools have to have, District Police in the schools. There was a time when the teachers ran the classrooms. Guns were never mentioned and drugs weren't nearly the way they are now. I don't go to Laurel unless it's necessary. To dangerous!
I can remember when you could sleep with your door wide open, now you can't feel safe with a dead bolt and a sawed off shot gun behind the door for the corruption in the world. Children could run around the neighborhood, they were safe, and now, they can't get out of the house. I remember the times a child molester would have been the worst case of suicide you ever seen, he just couldn't swim the river with all the chain he done stole. Things need to go backward, they're moving too fast.
