I really like this place, we needed an upscale hairdresser in this area. I am always happy with the cut.

I had a wonderful job done by JENI a Dominican lady so did my mother but I guess she quit and after that the last 2 times I went there were a nightmare come true I would not recommend this place to anybody the service is horrible and alot of them don't know what they are doing with hair. JUST BAD.

I have been there several times. My son loves this place, I have had experiences ranging from moderate to very good. The pricing however seems to be inconsistent. The same service may be $45. one visit and $68. just 6 weeks later, then 50 the next time. No rhyme or reason. I just went in a couple of days ago for color. I was pretty clear, I wanted my hair made to be about 2 shades lighter. We looked at samples and I showed the stylist twice what I wanted, it was a color she had suggested. She colored my hair. During the wait time, she chatted it up with another stylist, it was early and there was only one other stylist there at the time. My Spanish is not great, but enough to understand that they were endlessly complaining about their jobs, and mostly gossiping and saying really nasty and catty things about the other employees. It was hard to listen to it. The discussion continued as she washed my hair, but the discussion got heated and my stylist was now shouting,(not pleasant, since she was right at my head) and I don't think she realized that she was get more and more vigorous with her hands and my head. After all of that, she finished with me and I looked at my new hair. It was a "nice" color, but it was much much darker, than my original color, not even a little lighter, not two shades lighter, not just about the same, significantly darker. I wondered if it was the lighting i the place. I just wanted out of there. It looked nice, fresh color, shiny and smoothe. I paid for the overpriced service and went on with my day. I kept looking at my head in all different types of lighting. No doubt about it. My hair is very very dark. It looks a little weird for a summer color change, and looks weird on me. I have had my hair colored before, so I know what to expect, this is no where close to it. I imagine that she mixed up the colors incorrectly. I am really displeased. I am not sure if I want to go back to ask for it to be corrected, since it was done wrong already. I am thinking to cut my losses, to go somewhere else and just call it a big waste of money. I seriously doubt I will return to Corozon Latino. I used to like the place.
I did not see a name for the stylist, nor did she introduce herself. She did have a photo of a teenage girl on her work area with a tee shirt saying "glamorous life". The stylist's area was to the left of the check in desk, and maybe 3 stations into the shop. She was about 5'6, average size, short-ish hair, fair to med. complexion. I saw something saying , "Tolly" "Telly" or something like that, I don't know if that was a name. Also I noticed that her supply area had much cheaper supplies than most of the other stations and was stocked with Ritz crackers. If you want to go there and get color, try to get someone else.
