Bullhead City Parks and Recreation

The beautiful Colorado River and Lake Mohave, the Black and Newberry Mountains, and the striking scenery and warm desert climate offer many opportunities for recreation year-round. Bullhead City offers a long list of recreation programs and operates a Community Swimming Pool. In addition, organized softball, baseball, soccer and football leagues provide a variety of team and individual sports. A trail system is under construction with four completed segments, most in close proximity to the Colorado River, offering hikers a variety of locations for exercise and great views.

May all be true but the city can not even pay for working rest rooms thay got use portopotties thats sad right next to the city rest rooms that are locked. And tax payers gota beg for things to be fixed on the field.Light fixures falling on the field and so on .Thay say no money but i bet companies will donate things and money for tax credit. As soft ball has new fields and socccer fields are kept up great .Where is the balance in extra curricular activities. But the city gots lots of money to build a river walk .Seems this city does not wana invest in youths future. just ideas from a tax payer.

I think you'll find running & maintaining little league ball parks is based for the most part on volunteer work and donations by the general public, this is true everywhere across the country.

When I move to Golden Valley I'm planning on extending my umpiring there. Does anyone know what they pay their umpires there? I'm also an umlimited arc pitcher here in Victorville but I'm sure you play the 12 ft limit.

Congratulations **PHILLIES**

A long time coming: Phillies win the World Series

PHILADELPHIA - From losingest team to longest game, the Philadelphia Phillies are World Series champions. Strange as that sounds. Strange as it was. Brad Lidge and the Phillies finished off the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3 in a three-inning sprint Wednesday night to win a suspended Game 5 nearly 50 hours after it started.

Once again Joe Torre proves to the world he's still by far the best major league baseball manager in the sport..

Where ever he goes he WINS.. Wonder if Mr. Steinbrener will be courting him soon to go back to the Yankees?.. Let's see what happens

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Sagittarius

Happy New Year, Saggitarius! Despite the headache, your motivation level is high today, setting a trend for the rest of the year. You'll be surrounded by relatives and friends all year and will work passionately to help them, as you do. Things go smoothly today, and you're absorbed with the duties of new year. Be careful that you don't neglect your own health, though. You can't help others if you're run down.
