2009 Laughlin River Run Day One

The sun shines off the chrome of hundreds of motorcycles as Laughlin, Nevada, is once again the center of the motorcycle rally universe for five days in April.

Hey I have to say this was the best time this year! I have been going now for 7 years and I have to say I didn't notice any slowness because of the Economy! Was nice to see that they didn't gauge us on the rest. menus and hike the prices like last year! I had the best time this year! I would have liked more top name bands on the marquee! I mean I am in a band and right now all is TRIBUTE heaven! But it was still good! I am actually excited for next year! Even so I booked my room as usual at the EDGEWATER! The perfect spot! Right in the middle of things! The Edgewater has a early bird special and if you book now they give you $75 in food comps also $45 drink comps at any bar! GOOD THING! Sad now for me because this is my B-Day/Christmas/4th of July all in 1!!! Now nothing to look forward too till next year! I would like to see more reviews though on what people thought? The cops seemed tammed this year too. I didn't hear of any fatalities! That is a blessing! See ya next year!

Hi there I totally agree! The rooms are always a good price and the entertainment is great every year! Excellent time and I look forward to next year too! Might even enter the bikini contest!

Hey enter the contest this year was fantastic! I had the best time ever!!!!!! I wish the band would be more bigger names but hey it was still good. I guess they thought because of the economy that bigger names would cost too much. My band might even do a run up there I tried but my drummer got sick and was all acting like a baby!
