And puts us all in danger when she breaks the laws... IT BECOMES OUR BUSINESS!! What you would find even the least bit attractive about someone like her, says a lot about YOU!

Maybe if that child was being supervised better, she wouldn't be exposed to this adult forum and be allowed to participate in such a very adult topic... Maybe she should be being shielded from all this not allowed to participate in it... Someone still the adult and monitors her activity on the computer right?#Knowwhatyourchildisupto

Before you run your mouth && accuse my mother of being a killer, please read the article printed by the Tribune Review from October in 2013 following her trial .It states in black and white, her actions did not cause the ACCIDENT...The decedant's actions caused it. She successfully completed rehab , and was making a great effort to better herself. She's a remarkable woman , regardless of what anybody has to say.
The jury wasn't permitted to know all the facts... Like the FACT she was on state parole at the time of the incident and this was not her 1st. time out drinking that day... And all the numerous other times she had already been in trouble... It is my opinion that her behavior put the entire chain of events into action that day ultimately resulting in a death.. Richard Warren had no say in his defense and in my most honest and sincere opinion, her story was completely concocted with her childhood friend agreeing to it... There has not been nearly enough time to say that she has changed... Completing a court mandated re-hab doesn't cut it for me... She was given many chances throughout her life to better herself... Are you saying that someone had to die for that to happen?? Sorry, but I'm not nearly convinced and doubt I ever will be.

I agree completely. The jury also never heard about Ms. Fannon begging Mr. Garris to not call 911 because she was afraid to get into trouble...or once he already had dialed 911 her begging him to say he was the driver. Does that sound like the actions of someone "trying to turn her life around?" Her whole defense was misrepresentation of fact. Of course it was easier to lie and twist the truth. My brother did not survive to offer testimony. Those of us who are able to maintain employment will continue to support Ms. Fannon as she serves her sentence, and most likely long after because she has no significant employment history.

It is so shameful and you should be embarrassed to express your happiness when a family is suffering and dealing with the loss of a loved one from such a tragedy... Seriously, how thoughtless and unaffected are you? If it were me, I would never have another happy day in my life!... I've never seen such a display of selfishness and lack of compassion... I guess that's why you both get along so well... The mentality of your statements speak of your level...

Yes because it's only Lisa's daughter that gets on the computer...I love parents that judge other people. I have found thru the years that the parents that think they have all the answers are the ones that have mean little sneaky children and they are normally the bully's. The girl is almost a adult I have seen her maybe once and she seems to have a level head and one smart young lady,,,
Now go snoop around you child's life bet you find out your not as perfect as you think!

I will keep asking this question..... You have a face to hate because of tax money you have a sounding board to make a change, but you all will continue to sit In your home feeling self righteous and focusing on one situation, this story is over but somewhere today another begins instead of your useless comments get up and do something about drinking, fight for stricter accountability of bar owners and bartenders this stuff would stop or at least slow down. You have to have a license to do anything anymore but something as important as severing alcohol that could cause DEATH no one does anything. Stand up and fight for schooling of bartenders, make them and there owners be accountable, or shut the hell up when something happens. If you aren't helping the situation then you have no freaking right commenting on it.

Well it is obvious "Are you kidding me" that you have no clue who I am, how I am involved, and how your statement towards me contradict everything I am about AND how I was personally affected by this entire episode... I do agree with you on the fact we all need to do something about this situation in society... and I have been doing something about it for a long time... So when you tell someone like me to "shut the hell up"... you have just told an extreme activist and advocate to "shut the hell up"... I've devoted a great part of my life to attempting to correct this problem... So please don't assume on things you haven't a clue of.. I will never "shut up" when it comes to this type of injustice...

To clear this up the shut the hell up comments are for the asses that are fighting with the teenager. And no I do not know who you are and you don't know me as well, the point I was trying to make is for the idiots that fight with each other on here. Instead of helping the situation. And trust me I have a clue on this subject more then you will know. That comment was not to offend people trying to make change it is for the people that continue the chaos and do nothing but attack with no plan or caring to stop this problem, this and every town has with drinking and drugs. No it have lived it seen it and am repulsed by it. But nothing will change unless more people fight against it

Bartenders aren't the problem, people that can't control their drinking or being able to except responsibility for their own actions IS THE PROBLEM.

The bartender is not capable of judging how drunk anyone is or if they can drive legally.

Blame is on the person drinking not the one that serves it. Do you blame the gas station attendant when someone drives a car unsafely and wrecks because he sold the gas that propelled the car? Same thing.

I will guess you are a bartender from your comment. Or you are not in most bars.
Please do not insult my intelligence with this comment when you do not wish to face the fact that if you are serving a customer alcohol for hours and then you expect me to believe that you don't know they are drunk. So what you are saying is that if people have been drinking all evening you can't tell they are drunk. I have been in the bar business as well as a patron. And I have seen people falling off chairs bumping into walks staggering but I guess that's not drunk or the bartender didn't know? Well that brings education of said bartenders back into play. Not all are like this some actually care. I am talking about the bartenders that lie to people who call for the patron the ones that text there friends to party the ones that over pour for there friends. Or you have the ones that feed shot after shot and then whine when the patron is smashed and acting like ass. No I will stick to my statement BARTENDERS are part of the problem and should hold a license to serve.

Don't assume anything, I'm not a bartender nor do I even drink.

I do believe a person needs to be responsible for their own actions - PERIOD!

You are a fool to think another person should be responsible for me or anyone else. We have a drinking age of 21 years, by them most people can take care of their self, if not they are the one to blame.

I suppose you also blame McDonalds for all the fat people in this country and the gun rather than the person murdering someone with it.

I blame you, not you teachers for your stupidity.

I'm responsible for my actions, no one else, just me. Too bad many today can't understand and except that fact. Always an excuse, always blame someone else is the way it is today.

You can throw you ridiculous name calling that's what you people do on here. And I will excuse your stupidity for not knowing what really goes on in the bar world usually the "home town bars"
But I will bet money if a loved one is killed because kowboys or racers don't head to the rarely used guidelines from the LCB you would have a different opinion,
There there are alcoholics and that is a addiction
So some don't have that self control that you and the wonderful all knowing have on here.
It is a job is should come with responsibilities. You will never sway me to your side because you are in educated on the subject.

Excuse the auto correct uneducated....
I do not know why all of you are against educating people on what to watch for, how to handle difficult customers, how to keep track of power drinkers, learn to spot underage scams, it is totally ludicrous to me that you all against education to prevent death. This is why this problem will never go away because you want to fight back instead of helping and opening your eyes. So use your freedom of speech scream to the top of your lungs it's your right but when another teen dies of over consumption or your child is killed in a DUI involved car crash then get back on here and tell me that a simple course would not have helped.

And in a perfect world your thinking I would agree with. But guess what it is not. People everyday wake up from a night of drinking wondering what did I do last night, where's my keys, who's the person sleeping next to me. Give me a break the problem is all thru this town and every other. I am very happy you are one of the few that can practice self control you can pat your self on the back, and I will ask if educating people on what to watch for if it saved one person why are you against that.

Ok, let's pretend and say this was a one time occurrence for Lisa. That she truly made a mistake. Did she learn her lesson....NO! She continued to break the law and go to bars and drink! For that reason alone, she should've had the book thrown at her!
