Watch this video comprised from a Harvard study and then tell me how the top 1% need more tax breaks to create more wonderful part-time jobs at minimum wage. Tell me how good you feel sacrificing your loved ones in wars for oil companies. Tell me how unfair and wrong it is for an hourly worker to belong to a union and actually expect higher wages. Tell me how health care administrators and insurance executives deserve million dollar salaries and charge 77 dollars for a box of gauze pads, 100 dollar emergency room co-pays, all with no oversight from anyone.

And how does a CEO from Heinz deserve a 213 million dollar severance package?

But what do we do about it? How do you get things to change?

I agree that the 1% needs to be taxed more. I am a middle class citizen and I sure pay my fair share.

Put pressure on those you elected into office. Start writing letters to the editors of newspapers. Picket hospitals and the homes of hospital administrators. Start becoming as big a pain in the ass as they have become to society with their greed and callousness. Refuse to pay a bill that has ridiculous prices for everyday items.

It's not Medicare and Medicaid that is at the heart of the deficit problem...it is the outrageous and unabated rising costs of health care altogether. Instead of insurance companies investigating and penalizing such behaviors, they just raise the premiums to a point where we are now...unable to afford both out-of-pocket expenses and health insurance premiums.

The haves and have not's. Its a dynamic that will never change with out a global intervention! Not enough people care to get off of the couch and put down the welfare checks and quit taking the opiates to do something about it. It is up to each individual to make a move away from poverty and being pushed down back into the lobster pot. It can be done, with a lil bit of individual hard work and perseverance. Personally, I do not see a global intervention coming anytime soon, as we cant seem to get organized, so that leaves one option.

Another option is McDonald's...our Dollar Value Menu won't take a lot of cash out of your pocket. "I'm Lovin' It !"
