What would you rather have on council, a bunch of people raising taxes and not keeping people accountable. Oh wait. I'd like to commend Neal Fenton on his many years of service to the City of Latrobe. Neal resigned tonight at the council meeting.

I'd also like to state what a major prick the Mayor Marflak is for taking his parting shots at Neal. This guy is just a major jerk with no professionalism or manners.

I concur with the comments about Neal. Many thanks to Neal for his time and efforts. I wasn't present at the meeting, but if the mayor did use it as an opportunity to take parting shots, that comes off as very childish and disappointing.

I hope the newspaper reporter that was there reports on the Mayor's childish behavior. He said that Neal should have resigned in October of 2006 instead of continuing on whenever he didn't live in the City of Latrobe. He then went so far as to try to nominate himself to fill Neal's position on the Park and Recreation Committee. I mean, he actually said, "I nominate myself." Who does that?

You should have seen him at the meeting. This old lady misunderstood what he said and she started to say what NCR stood for and he was downright rude to her as he said, "I KNOW WHAT IT STANDS FOR!"

Not to mention how he verbally attacked Neal during his "Mayor's Report" and then when one of the councilmembers point it out, he repeatedly gaveled him. This Mayor is on a power trip. Someone needs to knock him down a few pegs.

Is there anyone you like on council? Let us know as that may help us understand your agenda. It's pretty pointless to call people names without any facts. What don't you like about what Rosie and Neal are doing. It's funny, go over to the other board and the union is talking about all the profits that Latrobe Steel is making and wanting then to share it with the union. Hmmm...if rosie and neal are doing things the Latrobe Steel way, and Latrobe Steel is turning a profit, I'd consider that a good thing. But that's beside the point. Instead of calling people names, how about some examples of what you don't like, or what you'd do better, or what you'd like to see done. Without that, your posting come off as little more than sour grapes.

I'll tell you who I don't care for on Council... Fabian Giovannagelo. I mean, his answer is to remove all the stop signs in Latrobe because he didn't get the stop sign he wanted? There is a level of maturity that hasn't been reached since the third grade. Neal is going to be missed. He really did care about this town. I have no idea what Rosie and Neal working at LSS had to do with how they ran Council. Maybe still laughing is really the mayor in disguise.
