I have been an airo employee for 6 years, from what I can see so far, its going to be just the same as it was. we are working voluntary overtime(7 days) some mandatory overtime on Saturdays because of workload is what we are told. we have also hired aprox 15 employees in the past month, and I hear they are still interviewing. so at this point it looks like we might grow, but in the die casting field, you never know

1 I really feel bad for the Pace/Aero employees, but until the public demands equity in increased contributions to health care, retirement, and lower percentages of increases in salaries, both teachers and administrative, then local business will suffer and layoffs will continue. |

I would just like to add that Pace has closed 3 plants in the last two weeks one in Alabama, Arkansas and Missouri.
