Sam Adams has recalled some beer due to defective bottles that may contain shards of glass, says the company. If you have any Sam Adams products in your possession, check them to see if they bottles have codes that say "N35" followed by "OI." Sam Adams makes lots of products so the list of affected bottles is fairly extensive. consumerinfo.samadams.com/Cons umer/default.aspx

So my friend just because I saifd it's too expensive for the average beer drinker you imply I'm a alcoholic you wrong on that one. I might drink at most a six pack every couple of months that is it.

Since they claim in there ads how well they tender this beer. My question to Sam Adams is how could this have happened and can we trust your product in the furture? I think anyone should think twice about buying this beer again after this. Sure they did the recall on there own but had they not recalled the product the goverment would have.

But....if you're only drinking a six-pack every couple of months, surely you can afford the extra few bucks to buy premium beer. How much beer does the 'average' beer drinker consume?

Sure they had a problem also at the bottle plant also but the QC at Sam Adams was also lacking. This is not a small recall as you should be aware of, blame it on the bottle plant but the QC at Sam Adams didn't do there job also.

John wrote: Sam Adams beer is just too expensive for the average beer drinker. Does that imply that the average beer drinker like below average beer? I'm not a huge fan of Sam Adam's either. I like some of their high-end brews like the Imperial Pilsner. But I would say the average beer drinker is broadening their horizons and trying more and more crafts and imports these days rather than sticking with the mass-marketed, watered-down alternatives.

It wasn't something specific to Latrobe. It was from the glass manufacturer.

QC should have caught that one on both sides of the fence. Both sides are lacking a good QC dept.
