Is it just me, or has anyone else had bad feelings about Barack Obama? Not just that he is a liberal Democrat, but that he is causing a great uneasiness deep within my soul.

He has charmed the people and will no doubt be the next President of the United States of America. I saw a clip on GMA today of the crowd of people where he was expected to speak. The whole crowd was in a frenzy. Women were crying, falling out and praying. I got goose bumps.

With his Muslim upbringing and his Muslim family, he certainly has Muslim sympathies. I don't care what church he is claiming affiliation with at the present, the Bible teaches that if you "bring up a child in the way he should go," when he grows up "he shall not depart from it." He apparently was raised as a Muslim and I think it's preposterous that he is even being considered for President, much less ahead in the polls. How can he objectively lead an army who is engaged in a Holy War with Islam?

I fear that the "quickening" is nigh. The economy is in the toilet and soon "a piece of bread WILL buy a bag of gold." Wars are everywhere. The climate is changing. Aberrant weather events are happening in places all over the world. The signs are everywhere!

Islam is a monotheistic religion (belief in a single supreme being)...just as Christianity and Judaism are monotheistic. Allah is merely the Arabic word for God. Both Muslims (pronounced MOOS-lims) and Arab Christians pray to Allah. Muslims believe Jesus (and Noah and Moses) were prophets, and that Jesus was born of a virgin Mary, but do not believe Jesus was the son of God.(God is so powerful that he doesn't need a son or partner.)

Do you realize that the last time the U.S. had a president with an ethnicity other than English or Irish was Dwight Eisenhower from 1953-1961? In wonder if people were concerned he was the anti-Christ because we were less than a decade removed from WWII and Eisenhower is of German ethnicity?

I normally don't buy in to superstition or extreme religious theory, but I do think that the blind faith to obama, and the fact that major political and personal drawbacks don't seem to slow him down, is getting eerie.

I absolutely believe he is the antichrist. Nothing will stop him if he is. My guts start churning, when I think of this man in the White House. He has blinded most people to what he really is. No matter what he does or who he associates with, nothing stops him. All the signs are there. "Please pray"

This posting indicates the dangers of making political judgements based on religious belief. The writer of the posting needs to think more about policy and less about unverifiable religious ideology.

Look who is stupid. He is not half and half. There is no such thing in religion like there is when a black and white have a child.

He is a Muslim, there are numerous similarities between the Bible and this man's actions.

There are other similarities as well... The Bible tells us that people will mock those who see the truth.

I agree with you. Sadly as the Bible tells us, unbelievers will mock us for what we see and know however one can only pray that the mockers eyes will be opened that they may turn from evil and see the light.

The Bible tells us that a man will rise from the East and people will succumb to his words, he will posess great charisma and they will fall to him and praise him for his beliefs. The similarities are there however we will see. When the man brings peace to the middle East then it begins.
