I don't think there is any humor in the rape of a 5 year old child. Grow up.

People without legs and people in wheelchairs have sex. This guy started molesting this girl at 5 yrs old. I would think he didn't need his legs for that.

There is nothing funny about it, I agree. I also am aware that people in wheelchairs can have sex, moron.

In the United States, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. To me it seems a little strange that the alleged victim (according to the news article)'followed him into a wooded area' where he then raped her. He is in a wheelchair for Christ's sake! Anyone who has ever pushed a baby stroller around Twin Lakes on the Fourth of July knows what a chore it can be to wheel over tree roots. Of course, even if she went willingly it remains a crime, but is it forcible rape or statutory rape?

I know who this guy is....a big loser, drug user and alcohol abuser, but regardless, the story of the girl is fishy.

Just goes to show how much you know about the affects of being molested over a period of several years starting at a very young age. It is common for victims to continue to be molested by their abusers and continue to go to who and where it happened. Never saying anything about it happening. I don't think her story is "fishy" at all.
I have a BIL in a wheelchair and he has no problems going through a park in the grass. The wheels of a chair are bigger and easier to get over things. All he has to do is lean his weight back and no problem. As far as you calling me a moron, I will just consider the source calling me that.

In addition to being a moron, you apparently have trouble reading. A grassy area and a wooded area are two different things. As for the 'effects' of being molested, there are no hard and fast traits that people who have been molested share....i.e. all cases are different. In addition, a 15 year old in 2008 is not the same as a 5 year old in 1998, regardless of what you may think. In this day and age, a child of 15 is aware enough to go to the police, but is able to be manipulated by a drunk in a wheelchair?? If that isn't fishy to you, then you are easily manipulated yourself.

I gotta say, you seem to go out of the way to defend an accused CHILD MOLESTER! 15 or 5 she is still a child. I wonder if your a friend of the accused or if you are a pervert yourself. Your tone seems to make it sound as though she is at fault. The victim is never at fault in a child molestation.

P.S. Use 'you're' when you wish to contract 'you are'. Using 'your' in that context makes you seem somewhat illiterate.

Go ahead and say it shitstain, I don't care what you think. This is a country of laws, and the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. My point is simply that anyone can be recklessly accused of a crime, their name dragged thorough the mud, their reputation sullied beyond repair, all at the whim of the accuser.
I'm not a child molester, just someone who believes in the law. I am however, a pervert. I wouldn't be if your mom would quit begging me to stick it in her pooper.
What a big man you try to be. You think by calling people names you actualy think you look good or get your point acrossed? Just shows how wrong you are. Keep it up, I'm sure everyone would value an opinion comming from someone blaming a childs rape on herself. Nice.

The funny part about this response is that you are the one that can't read what you wrote. You wrote... anyone who has ever pushed a stroller through Twin Lakes park..... I would really like to know if you have any daughters? I think if you were a parent yourself of a 15 yr old girl, you would feel different about this.

Are you serious?? Did you actually write that I'm trying to get my point 'acrossed'?? I how exactly does my name-calling prove how wrong I am??

Yes, I've pushed strollers through wooded areas, and the fact that I may or may not have a daughter has nothing to do with an accusation of rape against a legless man in a wheelchair. Why would it??? Because to people like you it's always more important to 'feel' rather than to 'think'.

Let's hope that justice will be served when (or if) this case comes to trial. I'm willing to bet that we never hear about this case again because the witness turns out to be unreliable.

Hey Derry Burro, how many different names do you have on this site? Haven't you been kicked off many times for being so offensive?

And by the way, whose children were you pushing in those strollers in wooded areas? Did they come back out of the woods with you?

Child abuse is so common and so often undetected. Don't you all think that you should be applauding that this monster was revealed and taken into custody?

Whether or not he is a 'monster' remains to be determined. I know who the guy is. As stated earlier, he is a world-class loser. He has four kids that he has failed to support, he is an addict and an alcoholic, and at least a second generation welfare lifer.

But......because he has no legs (amputated above the knees) and is confined to a wheelchair, I question the veracity of the girls story. That doesn't make me a 'molester supporter', it just makes me skeptical.

Do the rest of you just blindly believe everything you hear??

I would like to now where the girls mother or dad was? She should have been better watched by her parents for this to happen. All the blame should not be put on the guy. The parents did not seem to care where the girl was when she was 5. And it is the girls word they are going on only. The guy did care for his kid the mother did not she walked out on them.

What the hell? All the blame belongs on the frigging pervert who molested the girl!!!! I can't believe there are people out there who want to defend this guy. He abused a little girl! Sure her parents in hindsight should have noticed, But the blame belongs on the monster who abused a little girl!!!!!

I can't believe that people aren't outraged at this either. Then again there is always someone trying to stir the pot because they have nothing better to do.

The guy is to blame yes I do agree. But it is also the parents fault because they was not watching there kid. In today world you have to watch you kid to keep them safe and away from nut. So they are to blame also!
