I was wondering if anyone knows of anymore

----stages and gymnasiums

within the 2.2 sq. iles boundaries of the small town of Latrobe?

The White Eagles -- stage, 2nd floor

The Faternal Order of Eagles -- gymnasium, 5th floor

The church on Weldon between Ligonier and Ridge -- gymnasium, 2nd floor

Legion-Keener Bandshell -- stage, outdoors

Latrobe Elementary School -- stage, auditorium, 1st floor

-

Do any other churches or other structures have stages of gymnasiums not listed above?

Well, that's a new and nice facility, yes!

I also forgot to mention:

-----gymnasium, LES, Ligonier Street.

Your suggestion is:

-----gymnasium, Creekside Activity Center, Avenue B.

Thanks!

It seems to me that there are a couple more stages/indoor gyms that I'm not remembering...

Salvation Army used to have a small gym. I'm not sure if it is still there.

Do any of the churches have stages?

I know Holy Family has its Lyceum under the church, but no stage and its school never had a gym. Does St. John's (empty) school have a gymnasium?

No gym or stage at St. John's. The building houses the office and all of the classrooms are utilized for CCD, Sunday School, the choir, the cub and Boy Scouts and I think some other organizations. It's not an empty building. If I recall correctly, there are only 9 "class type" rooms on the top floor and one room off of the cafeteria on the lower floor.

I knew somethin' with KY in the title was going to be ornery.

And, even though your new "Love Toys" has a stage, it's outside of the city limits. And as for me grabbin' the pole, my stripper days are over...

I remember back in the sixties, when I was Cub Scouts, we used to have large troop meetings in a hall in downtown Latrobe. There was a wooden stage, three or four feet high and the room was large, maybe 30' x 40' or so. It was in a building on the west (left) side of the 300 block on Main Street. Looking at what's left on Main Street, I'm pretty sure it must have been in the St. Clair building at 348 Main.

Does anyone else remember that? What's in the St. Clair building these days?
