Funny you should post this heading. I agree and Thought most folks new of this website. In addition, I can say from my job having to go to people's homes you have no idea how many times I have went and found very young children are left at the house unattended or the parent is asleep while the toddler is roaming the house and has opened the door for me. I can honestly say I have run into this on at least 8 occasions. Most times I can wake the parent up by ringing the doorbell calling out Ma'am in a loud stern voice.*( remember the child has the front door wide open either talking with me or still running around the house.) Today was different. I actually had a child looked to be the age of 3 first yell from his livingroom "nobody's home". I rang the door one more time. The young child says " Nobodys home, can't come to the door right now." He or she repeats themselves for about 5 times. I casually walk to the rear of the home to make sure what I have on the property record card is correct. The house is so still, blinds are shut, not even a television. As I walked back to the car my supervisor is pointing at the child who is now looking at us from a bedroom window. It was very apparent he was either left at home alone or one of his parents were asleep. THis does bother us and he wondered if he should call the police. I couldn't help but think what if the adult is stuck on the toilet. I would hate to jump the gun. Now I am left wondering. I just ask please folks don't leave your kids at home alone or unattended if they are under the age of 13. There thats my "final thought".:>

If you live in Latrobe or Derry, chances are you're neighbors are probably heroin addicts. Even the innocent old woman next door who's a retired librarian is probably pounding dope and you don't even realize it. Next thing you know your car's broken into and your cd player, along with some loose change and some chewing gum, is stolen. You blame the neighbor's druggie kids, but you soon find out you're wrong. It was the 83 year old retired librarian across the street that broke into your car. She needed some muthafukin' cashola ta pay her dealer and you'z da sucka she done car hopped ta get her fix! I just checked that site out and I could not believe how many sex offenders we have livin here in the latrobe area. Take a look at this site people I'm sure it will open your eyes up. It shows there pictures and ages plus there home address. There is not one area in Latrobe that doesn't have at least one offender living right in your own back yard.

"Ligonier man charged with kidnapping, rape of woman
A registered sex offender in Somerset County is charged with kidnapping a female bartender from a Ligonier Township tavern early Friday and raping her.
State police said Dennis Lee Davis, 48, of Boswell grabbed the bartender by her hair outside the Runway Lounge, put a sharp object to her throat and forced her to drive him to the Beam Rocks area of Laurel Summit State Park, where he allegedly raped her.
Then he forced her to drive him to his car, where he filled it with gas he had taken from another residence, police said. As Davis was filling up his car, the victim fled back to the bar and called police.
According to the state's Megan's Law Web site, Davis was convicted in 1991 of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
District Judge Susan Mankamyer set bond at $250,000 and scheduled a May 12 preliminary hearing."
