I would like to thank our twp. supervisors for doing nothing to the roads early today, apparently they think everyone starts work at 12:00,unfortunetly they must come from amish decent, being they have no electricity that is the only reason to be that uninformed that the snow was coming, but dont forget to raise the taxes so we have enough money to pay your salary,Iam sure you will do that in a timely fashion.Good job idiots!!!

I am sure they were where the richer people live they always do that first. Those housing plans get plowed first and have nice paved roads evryone that lives out in the country gets screwed. Thats were all their friends live. I pay taxes just the same as they do.

Any clue how big Derry Twp is? How much equipment is needed to cover it? Check it out in comparison to anywhere else. Most areas are rural where the main road through the middle of the country takes precedence. Housing developments by means of population also take presedence. Side roads and less traveled are gotten to later.

Ever heard of the old saying get off your ass and help yourself out, well do it trade your homo Prius or other foreign trash for a 4WD.

No way in hell the first comment was ever in WY cause he would know that, and the second from CA should catch the first plane back!

I had no problem getting to work, and I have a little front wheel drive car. Heck, I didn't even both to shovel. I'd rather have the salt and rocks stay off the roads!!!

Is it just Derry TWP? Go for a ride and you'll find bad roads everywhere.
I know it is not the answer but it is the truth

The roads are not bad here. Sure, they are not great, but much better than Michigan roads or New York City roads. It's difficult in PA to take care of the roads because of all the hills, and the temperature changes.

I live in Derry Township never been to California seems to me you live in Latrobe this conversation doesn't concern you. By the way I would never own a foreign vehicle and if our Township workers would do something they could keep up with the roads. Or they could sub it out to Derry or Donegal construction. Those 2 companies can do in one day what our township workers do in a month.

Probably right... they will most likely do anything except.. to do right by the people living in those areas where the gas drilling occurred. Methane... water issues... trucks in and out all the time.. constant wear and tear on the roads and gas companies that made promises they still have not completely fulfilled and all our local reps say is "no money"! Hurry up election day!!! Between the county commissioners and Derry Twp... there is a ton of money coming in from gas impact fees. 2.7 million between the 2 government agencies. Almost $900,000 just in Derry Twp. alone! Everybody should be paying attention to how our local politicians spend this money.

We aren't going to see a dime of it and you know it.
