I liked the picture of the swan who 'just may have been' Nellie the swan supposedly slain last week for her ties to the duck mafia...La Quacka Noestra.

It's rumored that Nellie's rapid rise in the organized crime syndicate was a signal that ducks were losing their presence in the prostitution and numbers rackets at Ethel Springs. Nellie was murdered execution-style as a gangland warning to other ambitious swans.

I know for certain that Nellie was murdered by the school board members, who wish to drain the lake and build the new indoor football stadium, complete with retractable roof and artificial turf. I put in a bid to purchase the lake, so I could develop the property with a shopping center, luxury hotel and nightclubs and restaurants, but I was denied by the school board members.
