I completely agree with all of you. I definitely enjoy Falbos over Jioios. The customer service is way better at Falbos. A friend of the family once went in to eat and there was a woman with dirty clothes parading around the dining room. I'm unsure if this was a cook or not, but shortly after they ordered there was a woman heard from the kitchen that said "this is not mcdonalds, you cannot get a burger in ten minutes." I was a frequent customer of Jioios until I went in a few times and saw a young child or sometimes children running around the kitchen. In one instance a little girl was sitting on the counter with no shoes on, unsupervised. the child then put her shoes on then ran into the dining room and almost knocked a hot plate out of a waitress's hands. The customer service is indeed the worst I have ever seen. Many waitresses are rude and inattentive. When asked where your food and pizza are, many give smart remarks. I'm assuming nobody cares about the customer service and the continued burnt pizzas I always receive. These problems continue not to be addressed.

If you want good food and service with a smile, I suggest Hotel Loyal, Falbos, or Ginos.

You people do realize that the main ingredient in both of their pizza crusts is Lard, right? You're eating Lard.

Lard isn't in everything their.
Take the meatballs they are the worst i have ever saw i wouldn't even give it to my dog. The smell of it made me sick. The sauce you can tell at times it was old and bitter. That's why i would never tell any one to go their.

I have to, it just drives me nuts, it is not their but rather THERE.
Their is possessive, belonging to someone
There is a place to go to

Lard isn't in everything THERE.

You people need to realize that Falbo's purchased the original Jioio place in 1976 and with it came the pizza recipe. The general ingredients are the same, however they choose to make the dough with different methods and one does not adhere to the original product or name brand as specified by Mrs. Jioio.

They taste similar however each is different. As for the customer service, it does not seem to affect Jioio's as the place is always busy and the take out orders are consistent in numbers. I actually think that it adds to the appeal of the place.

Everyone will have different opinions however the volume of business speaks for itself as to the bottom line.

I like both places and when I am in the mood for a quiet environment I go to Falbo's but when I am in the mood to see a lot of people I know, I go to Jioio's.

I have ate at Jioio's for many years and have to say things have changed. If Bud was here things would not be this way. I realize his granddaughter is going through a divorce and things have been alittle hard for her but leaving the family business go down hill is sad! Honey put your love life on hold focus on your business.Your grandfather always had peoples respect do you? Think about what you are doing to his business!

Coming from someone called Yunzer girl... seriously, you need to get over those damn words. THEY AREN'T EVEN WORDS!!! They are just a clear picture of ignorance and illiteracy. And yes Falbos is much better. The lady at Jioios is a real smartass.

Hey folks anyone know why owner of Jioios was in the local police blotter? Seems I heard she beat up one of her long time friends and worker over a small matter at her business; from what I hear the older lady ended up going to hospital.

I saw that too! I think it was Wednesday's bulletin.'Shoved' an employee with years of service. Just like her restaurant, she's a price if work! And, for the record, that place is filthy! I see cooks taking trash out WHILE wearing their cooking apron...hey geniuses.....not too bright!

Did not here about the stealing, but heard about the husband working at the one in Irwin while the boyfriend helps at the one in Latrobe. Guess its easier on her for her piece of mind, she can control both of them, thats what she likes. You have to feel bad for her though first the IRS,then came the state cops, what next for the golden granddaughter? I know if Bud was still here she would not be doing this. Money doesn't change a person, if their head and heart are in the right place. She grew to, obviously, feel greedy and entitled. Alot of people take over their family's businesses or inherit wealth and are as humble as before.

Jioio's is not the same anymore. I've been treated rudely the past few phone orders I have placed. The service at Jioio's for eat-in is terrible: slow, rude, mess-ups, burnt pizza and horrible waitressing. The last (and final) time I ate there, there was a hair in my pizza. I will never, ever go back or order from Jioio's again.

As I sit here and read all of these terrible remarks, noteably some are true. I have to tell you that I've worked at Jioio's in Greensburg, and was a customer way before. I would take phone calls about compliants about the Irwin and Latrobe Jioios'. However, I do not work there anymore. I think you should try the Jioio's in Greensburg. It is owned by Fred Jioio's grandson, which he started 20 years ago. I know personally that Tony would never let some of these things that you comment about EVER happen. Your opinions will greatly change.

I had several excellent pizzas FROM THE POND. Try a basic cheese + pepperoni pizza first without the kitchen sink on it. It wont set you back a fortune and you can evaluate whats there for yourself.

Add all the crazy stuff next time you go, that way somethings a little off its because you wanted it on there.!!!!

I don't like the POND's pizza at all! It's like bread with some sauce on it. You can do that at home. But, of course, everyone has their own type of pizza they like and if you like the Pond's pizza, good. A couple of weeks ago we stopped at the Pond and were so rushed to get out of there. Our plates were actually being taken from us before we were done. If you don't want to serve someone after such and such a time or if you have a closing time that does not allow someone to enjoy their meal and sit for a while, then lock the door at whatever time you feel that is. I've been eating at the Pond for at least 40 years but after that night, I will certainly think about going back.
