Would you like some cheese w/ that whine? Any good Republican knows we need to focus all our $$$$$ and attention on the war against terror and war profits. That leaves nothing for forest maintenance, DUH!.

The need to do control burns is a must, In the 80's CDF did alot around the county.
Scott Drew was the local Fire ranger for CDF in Lake County. He and his crew , with Fish & Game, BLM, US forstery, and many ranchers burned 1000's of acres. By doing 300-500 at a time, they would make fire breaks, and would do them in different parts of the county, so one area didnt get to much fire. We need to bring this practice back. Its a win-win.

I say you do have a wicked sense of humor. What we do in olde England is to bring along the goats. In return they provide us with unusual cheese. The cheese we sell and make money. You Americans have totaly slipped your mind. Cornwall should have used more cannon on you Yanks.
