I think that Latexo is one of the best schools ever. Everyone treats each other like family. I am a student there and i think of my class and my teachers as family.

My family is moving to the Latexo area in Aug. 2009. Anything you could tell me about the high school would be appreciated.

I would love to hear more about the school district. My son is currently in Trinity High School and it is very low in what they consider education. Thank you for any info

3 of my kids went to Latexo with my daughter graduating as Valerdictorian a few yaers back.
I have come to realize it has a lot of positives and a great many negatives. I could recount stories that would curl your toenails but that could probably happen with any school district.

My main complaint would be how the faculty is happy being number one in a pool of schools that rate near the bottom of the barrel.
They seem complacent about getting to the next level.

It is the job of educators to do the best for the students even if it means cleaning out a few family names....something they seem reluctant to do.

Still, if they have desks and books for all the kids, we'd be doing better than in Trinity.

Desk yes.....books...again, I have a few stories about kids having to share them.

Not saying it's a bad school district. But it is far from top notch. Could be a diamond in the rough but the clan mentality stops that from happening.
