What was that statistic that 20% of jobs in New Mexico are connected to or direct government?
Those dollars spend a lot of time bouncing around town.

Didn't you support the drunk Susanna Martinez for Governor? Instead of hosting a party celebrating news like this I'd hope her & her staff would be bringing industry (not more Starbucks) to NM providing well paying technology jobs.

Didn't you support that drunken beaner Bill Richardson? All that greaser did was bring more debt to the state.

Would have appropriate for the Governor to read these statistics at the NM taxpayers paid for party. How about next year the $18000 goes to NM children & homeless & the Governor have a pot-luck with NO alcohol?

And if there is debt where did Martinez find $18000+ to celebrate? If SOS Duran was forced to repay all the money she stole from NM & forfeit her pension it would help NM debt!

How about also reduction in pay for judges,DAs, Governor, Mayor etc? Less people here means less tax money available. Let's allow oil companies to drill & add pollution to NM problems. Remember Love Canal?

The one good thing about NM is the beauty of our State. PLEASE don't jeopardise that with industry that by its very nature destroys our environment. There are so many examples of drilling especially close to families that have caused problems.

As compared to California, Arizona Andorra Texas? The illegals DON'T stay in a State that doesn't have work like the 4&5 generation NM who refuse to leave to find jobs & stay collecting wellfare
