Other cities should take notice of what it means to be a true "Lady". Here in Las Cruces, we do not have girls/women that are an embarrassment to the female species. Take Karissa for instance, classy, proud,demure,self-confident. How dare any store manager accuse her and other darlings like her of shoplifting! Oh, and using a weapon? She was only trying to defend herself and her honor from the power mad store employees. At least she will have a little time now to reflect on the awful dangers of shopping without money!

Look at it this way...if she had been anywhere else besides Las Cruces, which is so perfect and crime-free, she would've shot the store worker instead of merely threatening.

I'm not sure what's funnier - the fact that she was shoplifting at a Dollar Store (aka cheap, junky crap made in China that's not even worth $1) or that she used a screwdriver as a weapon.

I would pay money to see that incident on their security cameras.

A dry martini works better than a screwdriver when robbing stores.

As for Miss Intelligent, they don't get any dumber then what we're putting out in our schools today. That is if she even finished school, which I doubt.

She sounds guilty because she became aggressive when they confronted her.. Did they find anything on her to confirm she did do it? Would be nice to have an update.. Just curious..

Welcome to Las Cruces, where the typical retail store worker and other working class folks with a legitimate legal job can't afford a firearm, let alone the bullets to practice with - but the drug dealers and thieves "got all the good stuff. I'm glad the store manager had a shoplifter/thief that was too broke to get a weapon any fancier than a screwdriver.
