If all it takes to keep lefties from running for office is to have some bored teens mess up signs, then let em have at it. I see just as many Romney signs bent and kicked over as obama. Same with all the pumpkins in the road, don't put elections days after halloween. Other than the people paying for signs no one pays attention to other than road litter, who cares about signs.

I've noted that Romney/Ryan signs have been disappearing from Farmington and all along Bloomfield Hwy for weeks now, while other candidates signs remain.

But I haven't seen any news stories on that.

It would appear that Farmington's Democrat Party is merely doing "damage control" by being first to hit the media with stories of damaged political signs amounting to "political intimidation".

Modern leftists always have to feel persecuted by someone...it's what drives them.

If anything is going to discourage Democrats from running for office in Farmington, it's not going to be damaged political signs, it's going to be the fact that there are over twice as many registered Republicans than Democrats in town.

San Juan county is a hot bed of cons and rednecks and has been as long as I can remember. However there are places in NM where rational, liberal thinking people reside. The voting results statewide will bear this out.

Someone put up a Romaney/Ryan sign out near where I live at, La Plata. My dog went over to it, sniffed, and marked his spot with no small amount of disdain. Smart dog.

Blah blah blah.

San Juan County and other New Mexico oil and gas hotspots essentially pay the state's bills. The rest of the state, the "rational, liberal thinking" part, relies primarily upon Federal handouts, state government jobs, and warehousing criminals into private, contracted prisons, as their "industry". And you are correct, voting results will bear this out.

I'm happy that I live in the "right" part of New Mexico.

New Mexico has a wealth of natural resources locked away from use. It's time we opened them up, mining, timber, uranium, and even more energy, to use in order to re-build New Mexico's private sector economy statewide.

Rational, liberal thinking people...go back to California....you close minded individual. Do you have any idea what generates the profit of this state? Apparently not. Idiot. Go home. We'll maintain our status quo with or without your ignorant contribution. What pays for your 'liberal' give-me programs? What pays for the education scholarships? What pays the majority of the NM funding? Go home. Idiot.

If you Dems really are having your signs vandalized and stolen, THEN YOU SHOULD MAKE A POLICE REPORT, but please quit your incessant whining about everything !

Lets see if I have this right, Liberal Democrats don't know who to vote for unless they see a sign beside the road.
