Is it a coincidence that the Times finally took off the Politics home page the video of Beto's press conference where he said he would not run against Reyes? It had been there for months. I guess they can't promote him anymore without reminding everyone of his mother's case, so they took it off. It's no coincidence.
I noticed that also. They kept the video up as long as possible. The Times has annointed him our next generation of white leadership in 80% Mexican El Paso.

The EPT will most likely bury this story of Representative Beto O'Rourkes mother pleading guilty to a felony in the back pages if they print it at all.

They EPT will most likely run a non-story about Representative Robinson not having a drivers license. A misdemeanor at best that would NOT require his removal from office

When you have $500,000 in cash, you can bribe some El Paso Times Editors to leave your name out of the article.

Time for a special election to get someone to replace Beto. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

What I want to know is who is the guy that "purchased" more than $500,000 in furniture? That's the next piece of this puzzle.

Can't wait for Beto's press conference tomorrow. The dirt has come out. What you gonna do know? You could start by handing John Cook a letter of resignation.

Look at the bright side. At least you took the heat off of Carl Robinson.

I hope U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen Cardone will respect El Paso and take a cue from Judge Montalvo and NOT let this slide with a slap on the wrist.

U.S. District Court Judge Frank Montalvo sentenced Rodrigo Rodney Eckenroth to serve 240 months for money laundering, 60 months for tax evasion and 240 months for drug trafficking.

Montalvo also ordered Eckenroth to pay a $100,000 fine plus $208,046 in restitution to the IRS, and forfeit $1.7 million in assets to the federal government.

This lady obviously thinks she is above the law. These are the kind of things that white ppl do: scam the government, child molesters, serial killers. Mexicans steal socks and cable.

Drug money for sure. Now she will be a felon convicted of a crime or plead on a crime. Enough for Ojos de Pichorra to quit the Council. Now she was caught on this crime how many more did she get away with? Do you see how the Feds called it? "Evasion of reporting a requirement"!!! That means that they will make her pay the back taxes plus fees but do you think she is going to have a perison sentence or a criminal history? I doubt it!!! They will probably give her a deferred sentence.

That is why this people do not learn because they just get a slap on the hand but wait. It you were pobre and jodido te la dejan ir toda!!!( If you were poor and broke they would stick it to you!!!)

I think we have enough of these people its time to open your eyes. Educate yourself, you get involve in governmant and vote or run for a position!!! Stop attending clubs and bars and wasting your money on bogus parties that will get you for drinking and driving!!! Educate your kids and have them participate in government. They will be the future leaders of our city. Maybe one of them will teach these phonies about ethics

ok, carl is stupid for not having a d.l., but he is the only one with balls on council who is ok with the arizona law.

question ep times. where is the f_____ucking story you had on beto's mom last night that so conveniently didnt reappear this morning. isnt it amazing that the story on carl seemed to grow and get bigger to take the linelight off of beto's crooked mom.

watch a bunch of pooseys at the times. f__uck, the ep times is just another diario de juarez. just like them they are on the take. mordida is a better term. probably getting it from sanders and other members of the pdng. where is your article about this muench ? you ranted and raved about rachel azzzhole. what nothing to say today ? what about you edgrin ? nothing ?? to busy sucking up to archuleta ? what a f__ucking joke of a paper.

I would suggest that cash transactions are the preferred instrument used by Mexicans with plenty of cash that they need to dispose of and/or launder. El Paso businesses know this and have profited for years understanding this market. That is why El Paso businesses that includes banks, car dealerships, national chain investment and trading companies are complicit in the violence and Narco wars that is currently destroying Juarez and may soon be commonplace in the streets of El Paso
