Hey Fed Up... In my previous post I reread it and I wnated to make sure you understood. When I say that people who served under Bill have the same bitter sound, I did not by any means want that to sound bad. He was a horrible Commander in Chief and you have every right to be bitter about his leadership. I hope it came across the way i meant. have a good day
Yeah it did. I am just trying to be very careful of what I say on here, I have already had way too much drama. But, for the most part I am open and willing to answer anyone.

I got it. My brother was in the USAF under Sick Willie and he was not allowed to say anything negative then, but now...

it is everywhere. To this day my brother still doesn't like to talk about the things that happened. Bill Clinton is ultimately responsible for those feelings. Because of his shameful acts, it made the morale of our entire military, all branches included, very low. I was only a teenager during those times, but I remember how bad it all was. God Bless our troops now, and may our vets fallen and living be remembered, appreciated, and respected.

There is hope. Ted Kennedy, Pelosi, Clinton, Schumer, Feinstein and the other traitorous pieces of fecality will get kicked out eventually.

I received a Vision 2040 survey. Whomever developed this survey (A Buffalo, New York company?)apparently assumed that all recipients
in our city and county can read beyond the eight grade level, follows all the activities of the various branches of the city and county governments, attends every meeting of every agency, and is well-informed by local newspapers in Las Cruces, television stations in Las Cruces, and local radio shows. The usual sources of news of government agencies in other cities. The survey banner with its crosses shows the intent of exclusion of religious minorities and those non-religious citizens by the religious coverage promoted by the city and the county. Most of the questions are laughable and how much did this smoke-screen cost the city and county?
Did I fill out the survey? No. One reason is the insulting religious symbols on the front page banner. The other reason is the survey is crap and meaningless. The decisions will be, and have already been, made by the money-boys, and possibly a few women, like the puppeteer Phillip Pue and the other ilk that are more concerned with their income than the quality of life of the citizens.
Who approve this survey? Just who received the survey? Somewhere it said 1,600 copies were mailed out. That's not even 10% of the population. To whom? What zip codes?
The Geography Department at NMSU could do a better job on the questions. The questionnaire is a pathetic attempt to plan the next 32-years future of the metropolitan area of Las Cruces.
Yeah, what you said... This is the same city which gave incredible breaks for water to golf courses with a contract that will continue at today's bargain rates even if the course changes hands and paid one quarter of the infrastructure for the private entity. The community at large is being sold down the river by a short-sighted administration, as evidenced by the improvements to the physical plant at the downtown mall, but have these modifications made any difference financially and culturally? The city's management is more interested in insurance and land deals than the overall good for the city in general (We residents, to be specific.)

I wholeheatedly agree. What can we do? I've only been here few years, but in that time every new 'leader' seems to want to keep things the same. If changing leaders doesn't help, what other choice do we have?

So true & so sad. Candidates run with the promise of change in how our local government runs but as soon as elected they fall right in step with the others. Makes you wonder - why bother voting?

Either way, he's got a point. Why have a bag boy throw your groceries around carelessly, and then tip him.

I like Joni. I always have. 35 years +.

From all accounts, she's done fine work
in Santa Fe.

But I just discovered she supports Obamma.

I don't trust the man...Hell, he could start riots and didn't mean to.

Sorry, Joni, it's just too important.

i think the offensive part was that he called them retarded, which in some stores, they really are slow. Albertson's makes it a point to hire "disabled" people to help out. Many times they are bag boys. The cruelty of the statement was really bad. However, I usually shop at Wal mart and don't get a bag boy so if someone breaks my eggs.... it is me. I guess I could start tipping myself ;)

Just like any other areas, there are those who do their jobs well and those who don't.
But that is no good reason to generalize and ridicule those who earn their living by providing as service.
You also have doctors, lawyers and judges who are unsuitable for their jobs. They cost you far more than a broken egg in your shopping bag. The only difference is that doctors, lawyers and judges have been taught how to evade criticism and keep earning high salaries regardless of how they do their work.
The person who made the disrespectful comment about the bagboy is a hypocrite, because how one is born is not a choice but acting like a hypocrite is a choice.
